A new name for my Substack.

I’ve got some news. Starting today, this Substack, once known as Rick Wilson’s Intel and Observations, has a new name: Against All Enemies.

This isn’t just a facelift or a branding tweak. It’s a statement of purpose.

The moment we’re in is too dire, too dangerous, and too goddamn consequential for anything less than full clarity.

We’re not just facing policy debates or partisan bickering anymore. We are in the slow, daily grind of a cold American autocracy emerging from the shadows. Donald Trump isn’t pretending otherwise. His party isn’t pretending otherwise.

And neither should we.

Against All Enemies is how I see the fight now. It’s not just about Trump. It’s about the system that enables him; the MAGA movement, the billionaires who fund it, the tech barons who platform it, and the cowardly institutions from the courts to the press that allow it to metastasize. It’s the whole machine.

I started this Substack to give you insider insight, strategic perspective, and the kind of political analysis that doesn’t talk down to you or hide behind both-sides bullshit. That’s not changing. What is changing is the tone and the mission. We’re entering a new phase in this war for the Republican and American democracy. It’s not enough to observe. We must oppose. Loudly. Relentlessly. Tirelessly.

We’ll cover the strategies, the propaganda, the money, the legal warfare, the disinformation, and the cowardice. We’ll also talk about hope, resilience, and how we win.

The new name is Against All Enemies for a reason. It’s in the oath everyone who serves in American government swears. “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” was one where we always thought foreign enemies would be the biggest threat.

No longer.

The enemies of this Republic and our democracy are real, they’re here, and they are not resting.

Neither are we.
