"America First" is the inscription on the Ku Klux Klan coins. That's what it's all about.

Superb episode, Mr. Wilson, thank you.

Over this year it has become obvious that The Heritage Foundation et al wish to duplicate the conditions that led to The Great Depression. The difference this time is that if anyone even vaguely resembles an FDR showing up to right the ship, that person will be Putined out a window.

We are not meant to survive. America First for these "men" means they are starting with us and when we are no more, they will spread their power. They cannot be stopped by law before they drag us lower than the Great Depression ever did.

Rick, you know conservatism. Is this conservatism? Of course not. It's Armageddon - without a Judgment Day.

Thank you Rick Wilson for eloquently speaking about the MAGA American First Lie that is propping up a corrupt administration and destroying America. Going to my No Kings Rally Belleville IL. Got back just in time from long trip to visit daughter in Shreveport LA, and checking parents ( both ways) in Ozarks of MO. I have to do laundry, great weekend all and see you out there

So my local Antifa chapter asked me to spread the word. They're organizing for No Kings, of course, and want y'all to know we still have a bunch of supersoldier invisibility packs left, but supplies won't last, so hurry in. We also still have a few refurbished Rothschildotron space lasers we've adapted for street combat use, but we need y'all to watch a training video first.

And only tomorrow, George Soros will be at the office to personally sign balaclavas ;)

A great cast here, Rick

You know who doesn't care about him putting Argentina on the dole? Farmers whose farms are being foreclosed. (Hillary did that)

Country bumpkins like Claude and Mamaw whose rural hospitals might be closed. (Soros's fault))

Hispanics/Muslims/Gays For Trump don't care.

It's not just the GOP that's broken. America is broken. Or should I say "murica is broken". Spit

BTW, can someone create a red hat that screams "ARGENTINA AND QATAR FIRST"?.

Thanks Rick: Trump is a failed businessman He is a master of bankruptcies , grifting and many lost enterprises. He want to add a country to his resume. The 17 Trillion he claims he brought in through tariffs , well he can't remember where he put it. Anyhow any money Trump is getting from tariffs is your money the American consumers . Oh and by the way when some republicans call the NO KINGS rally a Pro-Hamas rally just remember you are building an air strip in Idaho for some Pro-Hamas folk from Qatar .

Thank you for ripping the lies to shreds and helping us see the light at the end of the tunnel. This whole sickening unAmerican grift has hurt compassionate and patriotic citizens emotionally. Your words of hope are like medicine. We have been under psychological attack for ten years now, and at least those of us who have not been brainwashed by deranged and unAmerican forces should be grateful that we can still think clearly. Your voice is essential and much appreciated.

Even the first America First movement, not the pre WWII movement, but that under Woodrow Wilson, was not about making America first. Over time it became uglier, openly embracing antiSemitism and fascism. But Trump's 'America First' purely is 'Trump First, and Only'. Even the billionaires who back him are merely an afterthought to Trump. They serve a purpose, so he'll toss some small fish to them like they're trained seals.

It will take the more than likely economic collapse to make some, perhaps not a majority, of MAGAs to realize that their 'savior' is a buffoon and never cared about them. Like Henry Ford during the Depression, Trump will live in his Xanadu and ignore the cries of all those suffering from the outcomes of his policies. At some point Trump will adopt the idea that violence in America is all about the gun, and the Supreme Court, HIS Supreme Court, will find excuses to allow Trump to seize the weapons of just about everyone. We'll have gun ownership like in most other totalitarian regimes, some of which appear on the surface to have the right to own weapons but the reality is much different.

We are already reaching the point where open conversation contrary to the 'will' of the 'great leader' may make you subject to arrest on some trumped up (no pun intended) charges and convicted on no legal evidence. The only part of the 1st Amendment that will stand will be a truncated version of Freedom of Religion, and that will be limited to only certain 'paths' of Christianity. Freedom of Assembly has always been truncated, Freedom of Speech is becoming a thing of the past, and Freedom of the Press is being stifled by the government and by corporate owners who care only for the right to make money, not to inform people of the truth.

When it all falls apart, we'll be on our own. Our allies that we've abandoned with the glee of the 'great leader' will decide to let us go it alone. They will have make other arrangements for their world trade and security. Our enemies, Trump's erstwhile 'friends', will laugh and enjoy the spectacle of the one mighty nation becoming dysfunctional and impotent.

I grieve for what we're becoming. True traditional conservatives and traditional liberals may have loved America in different ways, but they both embraced our freedoms and the rights of the people under the Constitution.

Agree with all of this

But when the final chapter of our decline is written, an entire chapter(s) need to be dedicated to the Dems' flaccidity.

>10M registered Dems stayed home in '16, a point in time when we could have stopped this shit in its tracks. This was the equivalent of Hindenburg appointing Hitler Chancellor.

And so we did it again to Kamala, because why not? Worked so well the first time. And I'll bet all I have we'll do it again in '28.

Pritzker? In whispered tones "he's a Jew, ya know".

Newsom? Well there was that French Laundry incident. Can't vote for him.

Whitmer? We've already shanked two brilliant women, so why not a third?

Shapiro? See Pritzker above

And then our leadership. Chuck and Hakeem. Every time I see one of them being interviewed on tv, the channel changes. Corey Booker, thanks for your marathon speech, but when you were asked about Bibi the other day, you equivocated.

This shit has destroyed our party and it's destroying the country. It's like watching a slow motion replay of a train derailment with 28 cars of cyanide being released into the air

A whole lot of this is OUR fault, not you and me, but those poor souls who just can't/won't read the room.

Once the country is on the road to recovery from all this MAGA destruction, term limits need to be adopted for Congress and the Extreme Court.

It's simple:

In this country. we've never been threatened with extinction. We've never been invaded. We've never been bombed. We've never experienced famine.

This has been a great country for 249 years

People take things like voting for granted.

Yes, the Great Depression was a walk in the park for most people.

Sorry, but the problem is, that the GOP since 1960 have whittled away at the constraints that kept the uber rich from exerting too much power by realizing that even among themselves, the taxes, inheritance and income, would make each generation have to work for their wealth, not just inherit it tax free or be given so many 'breaks' in the name of the mythical 'job creation'.

There are lots of folk out there who still live on sustenance. Right, left, non-aligned folk. But many have been so marginalized that they no longer believe that their vote counts, and their basic needs aren't important to the powerful.

We've been a 'great country' for about half that time span, if you refer to wealth and influence around the world. Teddy Roosevelt and those who came after created that with the sweat and toil and lives of the citizenry.

Yes, a lot take a lot for granted, like those who believe that when Trump isn't around, that 'normal' will return and we'll all be one big happy family again. That worked out so well post Civil War, didn't it. The problem has been that suffering and sacrifice has, in the last 75 years, been limited to a relatively small group, and they are the ones without power or influence. The 2006 Great Recession was a minor inconvenience to far to many, and people chose not to learn from the mistakes that led to it. Instead, too many hankered for someone like Trump.

And you're absolutely right about the GOP

This isn't a Trump created problem. The party has been rotten, out of touch and dishonest since Eisenhower

The road was paved for a Trump type by decades of dry rot from the likes of Patron Saint Reagan, Newt, W, McConnell and others. And Limbaugh and Fox News. We were there for the taking. And they've taken us.

And our own party is completely outmanned and is being overpowered, steamrolled actually, with leaders like Jefferies and Schumer.

You're not wrong about the Great Depression but you missed my point by a mile.

The Great Depression was devastating, but that was a world event.

There were no bombs or attacks from other nations. Our government wasn't overthrown. People weren't imprisoned and shot for no reason by someone like Pinochet, Stalin, Hitler or Mussolini. We've never been threatened by that (until now). We haven't had a revolution.

Contrast that if you will with nations like France, England, and all other Euros who actually WERE invaded and bombed; their cities razed. millions of deaths. Or maybe Vietnam which we leveled. Or Korea. Or Japan which, although it was self inflicted, experienced years of bombings, millions of deaths in WWII

THAT is what I'm talking about.

BTW, I just finished a great book on the Dust Bowl of the 30s. "The Worst Hard Time". The story is amazing and the hardship is worse than anything I ever imagined.
