TLDR: No one trusts Trump. Independent leaning voters are done. The shutdown’s damage is landing right on the GOP.
Stupid question: is there any way to up the pressure on our House members (mine is a Republican right winger locked into a gerrymandered district)? Can we start a petition to get them recalled (probably not)? Can we file something to have them stop being paid while the shutdown continues? I think the public needs to start thinking outside the box.
