Congress needs George Conway. If there ever was anyone who would welcome the fight against corruption and Trumpism, it's George. He's as solid as a rock and I trust him to do what he does best - make the schemers and the grifters and the morally vacant hurt. I am not a voter in this district so take this with a grain of salt, but... George Conway is no Democrat. His Federalist Society is the main reason SCOTUS is now so corrupt. I hope the voters of his district choose someone who has seen conservatism for what it is for decades now-a century plus-and didn't *need* a genocidal, narcissistic madman to drive the point home that the GOP is a sewer of moral rot. Someone whose only qualification for being a Democrat is not just that they hate Trump. There is more to representation than that. I appreciate George Conway's contribution to the fight against Trumpism but for Democrats he can't be considered an ally in any other sense of the word.

Whether or not George "is a Democrat" is a silly No True Scotsman fallacy (no Democrat is enough of a Democrat for the next Democrat). For me if I lived there, I'd answer yes and likely vote for him based on his credentials as an ardent MAGA foe with the legal chops to make them hurt. But I'm not the typical voter in that district, either, who demands a little more virtue signaling from their Democrats :(
If I lived in the district, doubtless I'd disagree with the plurality of those who voted for the primary winner ;). I'd vote for George anyway out of principle and because he's demonstrated himself to be a very capable fighter.

If he weren’t running against two people a lot better than Jack Schlosberg, I might vote for him. But both Alex, Boris and Micah lasher, a very good candidates, as anti-Trump as Conway. And with a much better understanding of other issues. I love George. But ask him why he thought Pam Bondi was OK as the Attorney General of Florida. Ask him where he stands on healthcare. On taxes. On the federalist Society and Leonard Leo. Yeah, Trump has to be brought down and I hope George continues fighting to do that. He just won’t be in Congress.

George is in third place (with Schlossberg in fourth) behind two state assemblymen who have the local endorsements. This is NYC; you don't get to square one in politics without the endorsements of local leaders. Mamdani didn't win by bucking these; he got many of them. I'm happy that George is leading the social media dilettante Schlossberg but I think that's the best we can hope for.
Have been donating to George since he announced. I'd fill the entire congress with conway's , neguse's, goldman's, raskin's. Schlossberg it's pretty to look at, but we don't need a congressional pin up calendar right now.

I have followed George Conway since Regime 45. He has been a steady voice for sanity and a fresh face the Democratic Party desperately needs. I am generally agnostic about which Democrat wins the primary so long as they can win the general election. Also, I am familiar enough with Conway's political history going back to the 1990's to have some wariness about seeing him run as a Democrat.
But I also believe we need political ass-chewers who won't ever give up. I believe Conway's background in the GOP gives him insight for the how the political sausage is made within this treasonous regime. If Conway is willing and capable to making right these wrongs against America, then he needs to be the nominee.
Ok...it's time to put political sides aside, right. Time to make the midterms too big for trump/MAGA/REPUBS to rig/win...let's 'politically neuter' the War Loser in chief aka Liar in chief. Take the House & the Senate with whomevere wants this grand experiment to progress. He stopped talking once the record was broken, so that was clearly the ONLY intent. And he started fundraising off it immediately. I'm more interested in people who get shit done.
