I left the GOP in 1988, long before George did. I happened to have the unique perspective of working in Christian media at the time and seeing the Faustian bargain between the GOP and Evangelicals up close.

But George paid a much higher price for his defection, I have no doubt about that. Go George and thank you Rick.

The nerve of you people. There'd be no President Trump if not for you two, and I haven't forgotten about either of your roles in stuffing the courts with judges beholden to their corporate masters and nobody else, nor the Brooks Brothers Riot of 2000 that gave us the Neo-confederate electoral map, the ground for the current fascist agenda now in full swing. Some nerve!

I’ve been on the fence for a while now and you just confirmed the missing “think link.” We need a warrior. Someone who can throw the grenade right back at Trump. Pardon the expression, but no more F-ing pussies need apply. You don’t fight fire with cute quips on social media. You fight like we have everything to lose, because we do!

GC is the man for the moment. Go George!

I wish I could vote for George too. He's proven that he has major cojones, something most Dems don't have. And I say this as a long-time Democrat, who also worries that ppl will look at Schlossberg and his pedigree (and not much else) and vote him in anyway.

I wish I could vote for George. Mass is routing for him, be damned the Kennedy's.

Wish I still lived in NYC! Go, George!

I’d say his only lapse in judgment was KAC but won’t hold it against him.

Of course George is a fighter. If you'd been married to Kellyanne for 22 years and survived, you'd have proved your bona fides for being able to take a punch and keep on going. George gives 'long suffering' a whole new meaning.

OMG, OnT, that's so funny. Of course, that's what Trump tries to bust his balls about, the ol' henpecked husband trope. George is like bring it on, baby ;)

I can't vote for George but I have donated. 2 people I trust have endorsed him, you and Charlotte Clymer.

I agree he’s the man for the job but I wish he was in a different district than NY-12 where his chances are better 🫤 He’d make a hell of an AG though. Or heading up a special anti-corruption litigation unit to hold the grifters accountable.

Yeah, hard to see any recent ex-Republican winning in the bluest district in the country. That's just science.

“It needs people who will not break.” The story of the last ten years is all the people, large and small, obscure and famous, who folded like a cheap suit, and sacrificed every ounce of their integrity, decency and humanity to that cretin, pervert and all around disgusting human being. And for what? Reelection I guess? A piece of the illegal corruption pie? Owning the libs?

The capitulation and surrender of every bit of all these citizens and their “leaders” legacy, reputation and morality has been seen across the spectrum of careers and industries, but the elected Republicans, top to bottom, have been breathtakingly embarrassing and totally without courage, decency or morality. They revolt and disgust me every single day.

Let me give you my latest example of my disgust and horror. My daughter and son in law are going Saturday to a Nate Bargatze concert. At 73 years old, I am only vaguely familiar but have seen a few clips and know he is a “clean” comedian, “nice” guy, and presumably “Christian.” Apparently he claims to be intentionally “non political” in his comedy. Well, he attended the UFC atrocity on the White House lawn. And to pretend that is anything but a 100% complete endorsement of DJT is insulting to my intelligence. “I am a UFC fan” is complete BS. Watching people rationalize and normalize ten years of insanity, cruelty, corruption and now pure unadulterated EVIL has been crushing and grieves me every time I see it—-over and over and over again…….day after day day, year after year….what is wrong with this country?

I’ve been contributing to George’s campaign. I heralded the day he divorced his “alternative facts” ex-wife. He’s courageous and disciplined. I loved his Substack podcasts with Sarah Longwell, in which he explained so well the lawsuits against Trump. Young Schlossberg has time to wait, and he needs to do something in politics beyond just talking.
