I tried to explain to my ex-wife that her husband voting for trump made our daughters less safe.

🥲🥲🥲, I lost my Dad when I was 9. I believe in my soul that he would have chosen me, or any of my 4 sisters over him 💔

He was a beautiful man. I wish that he could have been with you all the way through your childhood, teens, early adulthood, adulthood, and if you had children been their grandfather. ((( )))

He was a kind and generous man, he loved our Mom very deeply. My family ran a restaurant in a small town in New England. At holidays, if he knew of any families were going through hard times, he would stay at the restaurant all night preparing meals for them and deliver them in the early morning hours. He would leave them on the front steps, knock and leave before they could get to the doors. He did this for years, I was sometimes his accomplice 💕💕💕🥲

I’m now 68, and I still miss him every day. My Mom passed when I was 37. Recently I also lost one of my sisters after a 40 year battle with cancer 🥲🕊️❤️‍🩹

This is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever read. What a Dad! And you lost your mother at such a young age, as well... Who became your "family"? I'm sorry about your sister's death. She sounds like a true cancer warrior!

Another point to consider: dirty up the optics to match the reality of the situation. A regular episode in Labor & Delivery looks like a hog killing when finished. The perinatal emergencies that result in women dying is even worse. I've been in those situations, squeezing blood & blood products into a hemorrhaging woman in the operating room....there's no violins, just lots of prayers and "how many more units can we get?".

Ditto. Been there. Seen that.

Needs LOTS of edits! If the target audience is people that are on the fence about the issue it lost the audience after the first minute. Yes, production and theme was beautifully presented...for a short film. I'm in the choir and even I bailed before the end. Enough with the rerun of the memories at the end, to LOUDER VIOLINS. Chop it!! QUICKLY!!! And buy some legacy media time during football games between now and N5.

I felt that way, too. They've done another commercial (with the Dad) and I think it's much more effective.

This is such a tearjerker of an ad. I sincerely hope that it is played in all swing states on FOX. These grandpa’s need a wakeup call. Their hate is killing their families.

Not a fan. The one thing I think that a good chunk of the electorate wants is to stop fighting with family over politics. Let's focus on that....the orange man has spoiled millions of holidays and sundered families. It is among his greatest evils

That is so powerful, and well done, may it wake up enough people to make a difference. Much respect for creating it.

Tears are flowing because I’m old enough to remember that it was like that and then we women fought for our rights, and won, but now it’s like this again! It’s heartbreaking!

BTW Rick... no idea if you read the comments. But if you ever need a weather voice (or voiceover) in these last 3 weeks, I'd be delighted to help. No NDAs or non-competes right now.... the beauty of being in between gigs. subletteweather.com
