Dear Republican Officials: Ignore This, Please

Dear Republicans Elected Officials:

First, I hope you ignore this letter.

You signed up to the Trump effort be chattel or cattle, pick one. You signed up to be an obedient vote for the White House, no matter what outrage they want you to swallow or what sick secrets they want you to hide.

As a group, you lack courage, pride, honor, and agency, so what’s not to love if you’re King Donald The Pungent looking out at the kneeling forms of his votaries?

You didn’t run for office to serve your constituents, build a record, and go home with your head up. You ran as a reflexive vote for Trump, every time, all the time. You have no thoughts, no ideas, no policies, no actions, and no votes that are not approve by the White House. A handful of you whisper quietly to reporters and family, “I’m not like them”…but you are.

Knowing that you’re as weak and blind as baby mole rats, the electorate is tired of your kowtowing and bootlicking…you just can’t see it yet.

America is struggling, your party is in complete control of Washington, and while folks are lining up at food banks, your boy Donald is building his Barbie Perfect Princess Dream Date Ballroom, arresting his opponents, rolling masked bullies into the streets, and raking in bribes.

If you think that’s a good look…well, you do you, boo.

I’m glad none of you seem to realize you’re tied to a political boat anchor named Donald J. Trump, and he’s sinking. If you don’t cut the line, you’ll go down with him.

That would be such a shame.
