The tariffs WILL go away and things will reset back to "normal". There's just too much heat that he's taking for these to remain permanent. And while they're in place, the heat and the pain will intensify to a Chernobyl extent. He will HAVE to back down, which is his pathology anyway
I don't know what the permanent damage will be. I'll have to listen to get this man's take. Certainly we've alienated virtually all of our allies and that won't help.
Tariff-gate accomplishes two things for him:
1) He and Mr. Eyebrows Burgum MTG and all the other Repubes who are engaging in insider trading will make millions. Period.
2) He's got world leaders groveling for relief.
