There’s a delicious little storm rocking Washington, D.C. this morning as news that Donald Trump is incandescently furious with Chris LaCivita and James Blair. Trump’s campaign bosses raking in several hundred thousand dollars from one of Vladimir Putin’s most obedient lapdogs in Europe isn’t a shock.
After all, LaCivita and Blair have already proven they’re perfectly comfortable working for pro-Putin sycophants.
There is absolutely no mystery about what Chris LaCivita and James Blair were doing in Republika Srpska last week: peddling the single product every petty autocrat globally wants to purchase, and Vladimir Putin wants to keep: Trump’s associates in their orbit, a chance to compromise their careers (and devices), and the implied endorsement of Trump himself.
And making bank in the process.
