I think the people around Tru.p are biding their time waiting for his popularity to sink enough so they can invoke the 25th Amendment. If that happens, things will not improve because Vance and his eyeliner will be in charge.

Building casinos in Gaza is like building a McDonald’s on the 9-11 site.

The Dems, Independents, and like-minded major donors need to immediately unite and implement a mass communications campaign to inform the public about the effects of Trump/Elon/DOGE actions and the rampant disinformation that is thriving on social media and right wing media. Messaging needs to be brief, fact-based, supported with easily understood graphs and charts, and not sarcastic, overly emotional, and designed simply to get under Trump's skin. Use real Americans to message-- not known Democrats or actors (for instance, a farmer who explains the $ 2 billion that goes to US farmers from USAID). Our country has a plethora of young media and communications graduates who know how to message in today's world. This needs to begin immediately and not after 2 years of planning.

As much as I admire Rick Wilson and despise Trump/Musk, I regret to remark that conversation in the present comments section seems somehow lifted from sections of Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers. Dynamically daft, I would say.

Stupidity at its finest. Then you have the weak republicans coming behind him saying that this idiot is a genius I truly hope history is not kind to them. If they are not allowed to rewrite history like they did with 1/6

The Orange Buffoon thinks he will get a Nobel Peace Prize out of his plan to "bring peace" to Gaza. He is OBSESSED with the fact that Obama has one and he doesn't.

In addition, he started to say what a valuable piece of land Gaza would become after he developed it into Gaza. Just another resort to put his name on. He stopped himself part way through the word 'valuable'. I think he is trying to figure out how much money he can make on it.

The Orange Buffoon and his Red Magaloons would be a great name for a band. In real life, they are one of the most destructive plagues to afflict our world.

It could be about Nobel envy, but I see it more as Trump's typical real estate patter to investors. Beautiful new building, great location, property values can only go up. It never, ever works out that way with Trump properties, which have never been anywhere near full capacity because they're shabby examples of what a poor person thinks is luxury.

Trump had no choice but to include the Palestinians in the pitch, that they'll all have new homes better than the ones they have in welcoming new locations who could thrive now in a place that's not so "unlucky." Great peace plan, Donald! But it's more likely that he thinks of the Palestinians in Gaza the way he did rent controlled tenants in the buildings he wanted to gut and redevelop, back 40 years ago when he actually developed property. He'd hire homeless people to shit in the lobbies and create such a nuisance that the tenants would move out. Did Trump care where those tenants had to go? Heh.

Our new Abraham Accords buddies in the Middle East doubtless strenuously rolled their eyes. Egypt and Jordan decidedly do not want hundreds of thousands of new, desperately poor and radicalized citizens. MBS doubtless patted Jared on the shoulder and told him to get his father-in-law to kindly shut the fuck up, please. 24 hours later the plan collapsed.
