While I was recording this video the stories leaked that the White House is looking for a new SECDEF. He’s not.

As for firing him, I’d love to be wrong, but my theory is pretty strong:
This is a trail balloon from Susie Wiles and J.D. Vance, trying to get a D.C. feeding frenzy in the press running to make Hegseth quit before he’s fired. Neither like Hegseth at all and for Vance, he wants to put Peter Thiel’s mark on the DOD, stat.
Trump is in a real bind.
Trump can’t fire Hegseth unless he wants to look like the weakest, most low-T Deep State DEI femboy cuck…sad! He can’t keep him, because Hegseth is a drunken, hot mess totally unqualified to run the Department of Defense and Hegseth’s behavior will accelerate and become more dangerous, not less.
The Senate GOP folks who knew Hegseth was this guy are about to have a bad day. “Who could have foreseen this! I’m shocked! No WAY! Pete HEGSETH? You’re sure you have the right guy? No effing way! I’m sure Trump has learned his lesson now!”
As this plays out, watch for the dividing lines in the MAGAverse: tradcons knowing Hegseth is a trainwreck and hoping Trump will appoint someone responsible to replace him and fight-fight-fight drooling Fox addict MAGA cons desperate to prevent Trump from giving the media and sane America a win by expelling Drunk Uncle Pete.
It’s a no-win for Trump, and I feel terrible for him.
Just…terrible.
