This is exactly what's winning for Democrats - connecting with average people. When I was younger, everyone knew that the Republican Party was for the rich and well-to-do, and the Dems were for average people. Then through some evil magic - I suspect the Repugs droning on and on about East or West Coast Elites - this flipped on its head. The DNC didn't spot what was right in front of their noses, Hillary lost her election through not connecting with regular people and now we have all the mess in Washington. Momdani broke the ice jam and sent the message strong and hard, and now Taylor reinforces that message. If the Dems wake up and see what's needed, we can win it all in 2026 and 2028 and thereafter.
