I Need You To Watch This
David Jolly, a former Republican Congressman from Florida, was one of the few Never Trump figures who walked the walk all the way out of Congress in the era of Trump.
He’s a friend, a good man, and is presently running for Governor of Florida as a Democrat against a degenerate Trump worshipper.
But this brief, even-minute speech is about something bigger than that campaign. Bigger than Florida. It’s the kind of speech we need every candidate in this nation to watch and learn from.
Moral clarity is rare in politics. Great moments where rhetoric and inspiration meet are vanishingly rare. This is one of those moments:
It’s Trump and Heritage Foundation down to the cabinet. It’s occupation. They are trying to deny Democrats the right to vote under the guise immigration
Never trust a republican again. Any of them, until all the ones out there are in their graves.
Words are cheap. Don’t elect one who says the right thing all of a sudden: remember who they were backing up til now.
