I write about this on my website (www.gawdless.com). I post this on instagram and bluesky. Diaper boy isn't calling the shots. He had nothing to do with creating project 2025. He's merely the con-fusion maker. Grand Master Flush. Distractor in Diapers. Look here, no look there. He could not find a gallon of milk if he were standing in the dairy aisle of a supermarket. I wonder if he's ever cooked a meal. Washed dishes.

Those who did craft Project 2025 hide behind diaper boy's antics while moving the coup ever closer to the finish line. They know what they're doing - weakening resistance (poor people are less able to put up a fight). Trashing the economy while waiting to snap up earning assets at rock bottom prices. It's all part of the plan.

Anne, I agree whole heartedly with your point of view. People need to work for something for their own satisfaction and sense of pride for a job well done.

Democrats and Independents need a strong leader right now. We need to offer an alternative plan to the authoritarian trend that we’re seeing. It is imperative that we have a unifying cry that we can agree is going to make our lives better! We need a powerful, strong voice. I propose UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE. We don’t have the best healthcare system in this country. It is simply the most expensive in the world.

We have become a very materialistic country over the years.. World War 2 brought back ways for Americans to become at least become 'middle class' again after the "Crash".. Roosevelt was rumored to get us into World War 2..to SAVE us from the Crash as it put so many people back to work. Suddenly, we were all buying into all the things that they couldn't afford during the Depression.. People were buying cars and home...my family was one of those..

My feeling about the way we think about wealth is that watching my dad thinking that his big aim was to own a Cadillac. My sister and brother were more concerned with HOW MUCH they were making rather than what they were actually doing with their lives. Everything was about WHAT they owned.. Certainly we see that "GOLD" standard with the extremely wealthy..showing off what they could "own".

NOW, with the way this regime, especially this " Neauveau riche " president ( ironic!!) and his god..GOLD ...we are faced with his greed as well as his lack of understanding TRUE WEALTH which is "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness",,and that's what we all need to be concerned with..That's the wealth of this nation... My husband and I treasure our freedom ..freedom to choose...to create and do what we wish, and I hope that more Americans get back on board with this concept..My point is this, the CRASH, with the felon's attack on these United States is destructive,,BUT we can overcome this by understanding it's what we do with our lives rather than owning all those materal items... Thanks Rick

I haven't watched the vid yet but my initial reaction to the thumbnail earlier was pretty funny.

Aaron Sorkin? WTF is Rick doing talking to Aaron fucking Sorkin? Isn't the West Wing creator's claim to political fame boosting that naive (willfully or otherwise) liberal, yuppie delusion that The Institutions Will Hold? And isn't that the very same toxic residue Rick has been trying to sandblast off Jeffries and Schumer?

And then I fired up the 'pedia. Andrew Ross Sorkin is a business journalist who made his bones with a deep dive on the Great Recession. Whoopsie ;)

I wish more Dems would pay attention to what strategists like you say about messaging. I belong to a local group that meets regularly to strategize and plan actions. Good so far, but then it all goes south. They talk about creating brochures explaining why nonviolent action is more effective than violent action…explaining the danger of fascism…providing data….😱! Isn’t this why we keep losing? We’ve got to stop behaving like intellectual nerds (even if we are) who talk down to people about issues that don’t impact their everyday lives. And yes, it’s the economy, stupid. Talk with others about their hopes, their fears, their struggles. Don’t throw data at them.

Thank you! Living our lives as they were meant to live is far more important than the blasted economy...except for those poor souls who have less than nothing. We've got to learn what TRUE Wealth really is...and LIVE IT...

I lived in Latin America a long time. In one country we lived in, there was an economic crash. Friends banded together and men took turns guarding the properties at night. In the US, I suspect it would be worse. More people have guns and frankly are also not used to being “in need”. It was a scary time. It passed but was a learning time.

Well, $20B miraculously appeared to 'bail out' Argentina, while thousands of federal workers are working w/o pay and Congress argues over providing healthcare to The People of this country. Bailing out Argentina doesn't help our farmers, our agricultural workers or our other essential workers and lagging industries. How does this huge amount of $$ help our country when we have no economic relationship with Argentina?

Nothing on economics, we're pretty fucked; anyone who can't see this train coming is with the walking blind, deaf and dumb. Prrvious post you mentioned JD was banking on Donnie, Dementia and.Depends. I think, judging by the way he's walking, Agent O has upgraded to Pampers.
