Jeffrey Goldberg, Shane Harris, and The Atlantic dropped a hammer on the Trump administration’s latest lie as I write this. After doing what the White House refused to—actually checking with the Intelligence Community—they released more of the now-infamous “Houthi PC Small Group” Signal chat, and the results are devastating.

Yesterday, the White House goon squad swore to the Senate that nothing classified, no critical details of an imminent strike on Yemen, was contained in that chat. The Atlantic today committed journalism, an act less and less common in Washington. It called their bluff and blew their lies out of the water.
