I’m sure someone far smarter than me has already made this connection but I’ve got some free time so here’s my two pennies. These ICE and Border Patrol agents have a rude awakening coming to them. They think Trump will protect them and reward them for their zealotry just like Hitlers brown shirts assumed he would protect and reward them. When the brown shirts started taking things too far and started hurting the party’s image they had to go. So, on the night of the long knives Hitler offed them.
They literally got him where he was and then when they were no longer useful he just got rid of them.
The best indicator of future behavior is past behavior and Trump isn’t loyal to anyone but himself. He told MAGA he was going to solve all their problems and they bought it and put him back in the White House. And he’s dropped MAGA like hot potatoes and has even had the audacity to send his press secretary out to gaslight the American people that the reality they’re living in isn’t real.
When those “agents” are no longer useful he’s going to drop them and throw them to the wolves when states start bringing their own charges against them. If they weren’t so fucking evil I’d feel sorry for them, but they’ve sown the wind and deserve the whirlwind they’ve got coming.
