She is a hero and her words are absolutely true.

The data is everything!

So frightening!

She is SO brave! Yes, I’m feeling the fear. It’s not going away so long as FF47PINO is allowed to continue. Thanks for airing this, Rick.

Forgive me if i sound unaware (i kind of am as i am recovering from a stroke), i don't know whether she told us What we can do about it, and if she didn't i am open to suggestions... Should i bring my computer & phone somewhere to have a tech person delete all my info? Thank you.

Thank you Rick. This ties right in with the concepts of technofeudalism described in the book by Yanis Varoufakis, which, ironically, was promoted as the best forthcoming book of the year by the Guardian.

Powerful. I need to listen again. I’m paraphrasing but when she said history is a powerful lesson, I took note. Some days I want to just give up but I know we can’t. We are the power. We must use it.

It is but at the moment I'm more worried about the fact that they are taking people off the streets without due process and sending them to an El Salvadoran gulag/slave labor camp. This is what we need to focus on right now.

It's all part of same thing because the AI data scraping allows them to build the profiles, but see Rick and Stuart's new video on that very subject.

I did and I understand that. But we have to really hold the line on illegal detention and deportation without due process. The data scraping yeah of course we have to fight that too. I think the idea they are entertaining the notion of doing this to US citizens should get everyone out to protest. It is what I think should be the focus.

There's so much shit flying everywhere that Trump atrocities are a Choose Your Own Adventure. If seeing your 401k getting raped sends you into the streets, great. If data mining and corporate-government surveillance makes you feel like Carole Cadwalladr, that works, too. But I agree with you that this particular aspect is the most gut wrenching, at least for me. When Bukele said last night that returning an innocent prisoner is "preposterous," it shocked my conscience. When I heard earlier today that one of them said you had to lock a bunch of people up "to keep 300 million people safe," I gagged on my coffee. And now the presser comes out and it's even worse than that. Trump wants more El Salvadoran slave camps built to deal with "our homegrowns," that's adorable.

Couple things: It takes years to build more slave camps. As bad as our history has been of tolerating dissent, from Lincoln's suspension of habeas corpus, the Japanese internment camps, Jim Crow, the Red Scares and the JE Hoover FBI, we're still a nation of cranky individualists, not agrarian peasants who've lived under authoritarians for centuries. We're not Argentina or El Salvador.

Trump's approvals on the economy are in the toilet but what's keeping his overall approval above 45% is immigration. And I have to say, people are just shits. If it's not happening to them or their intimates, if it's happening to some group they can otherize, they'll turn their eyes from it just like Germans. But if Trump starts explicitly going after not just "illegals" and "criminals" but _dissidents,_ I think that will spark the 10, 15, 20 million people in the streets that Rick says we need to put the Fear o' Gawd in not just Trump but the entire Republican Party.

Her courage is inspiring. She has been through so much. We all need to listen to her counsel. This digital coup is here and the consequences are grave.

Wow!!!! This is what bravery is! Standing up again knowing that it could end up back in court as the Oligarchy attacks. We must not allow the Tech bros to win. The Broligarchy cannot be allowed to win! We must stand up as a United Global Democracy community. Musk is absolutely, along with Thiel, taking our data and using it to control everything we do. This is the Reich of the Oligarchy.

Yes....AI is now politics...it will assist in White Washing our history, it will assist in finding those who need to be 'dealt with', and it will end our Democracy just the way Putin, Orban, and other Dicktators wish to happen.
