Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I hear these stories 4 days a week. For those who have watched this video, please take good care of your nervous system afterwards. Yoga, breathing, meditation, walk in nature, low humming. Google how to calm my nervous system and find something. This is tough stuff to digest. Thank you Rick for taking this interview. I’m sure it wasn’t easy.

I am HORROR stricken...but I've heard Amy's interview on previous interviews...The felon has never been mentioned in this book as far as I've heard..Is this because Virginia was working for trump before Guislane brought her on board to Epstein??? Was she terrified by the prospect of trump going after her family??? This would've been a fear for her...correct??? SO why would she commit suicide??? Wouldn't she have fought tooth and nail...to protect her family... What am I missing?? My heart goes out to all these young women...every single one!!!?

As for why Virginia committed suicide, it's extremely sad and tragic beyond measure that it's completely understandable how she cracked under the stress of her situation. I would, in all likelihood. You would, too. Anyone save a well-trained warrior likely would as well.

Virginia did what she could to do the right thing, but she was not a well-trained warrior.

One thing we can feel strongly comfortable about, Leigh, is that there was no foul play. Virginia's support structure is extremely strong and they would have sniffed that right out.

She died of her own tragically broken being :(

Hey Leigh ;). I think the portraits of Virginia are pretty well-drawn at this point and though she's a full human being who's made her share of mistakes, her motives and reactions aren't difficult at all to parse especially if you can put yourself in her shoes at the time.

I agree very strongly with Rick and Amy that it's misplaced for society to put so much weight on the necessity of the victims coming forward. The weight ought to be fully on the grown men who abused these extremely young women and girls -- legally children.

Virginia had no call for action against her former employer Trump and you saw how thrilled she and the survivor community became when Trump started saying he'd release the Epstein files in the campaign. Virginia was not a Never Trumper. This is not political.

Of course like everyone in the release-the-files camp, she felt Trump bitterly betrayed her.

Recall when Maxwell and Epstein tracked Virginia down to her new Australian home because the Palm Beach investigation was heating up. At the time, she was like no, no, no, I want nothing to do with it. That's before the birth of her third child and daughter and her epiphany to speak out and try to break the cycle for the countless victims of CSA.

I find it impossible to second-guess Virginia for not doing more in such a vulnerable state.

This was a good episode. Her life was so sad. These rich people destroy people’s livelihoods and they get to move on and live their life while they leave a trail of trauma for many.

I have been listening to Nobody's Girl on Audible. It's a harrowing and very tragic story. Epstein and Maxwell PREYED on these young girls and the girls were threatened, should they ever go public. I appreciated these interviews, Rick. The pain of having lost Virginia to both her family and Amy is so dreadful, and to have acknowledged that she was the victim of domestic abuse, on top of all that she had suffered, is draining my heart. She speaks of a prime minister and other abusers. It wasn't "just" rape, but sometimes beatings and slamming her head till the monster drew blood. It was ALL physical violence. It's difficult to read, difficult to listen to, but it is in absorbing this information that Virginia has shared helps validate what happened to her and other young girls.

That the Epstein Files continue to be under wraps by Mike Johnson, Blondie Biodi, and "Cash" Patel means they should all be held accountable for hiding crimes that were knowingly committed. Maxwell deserves to rot in prison though she may very well be, sickeningly, pardoned. These were not a handful of girls but thousands who were victims of human trafficking all over the world. No doubt Epstein got very wealthy by blackmailing hundreds of men. I'm overseas now visiting family and on the BBC last night, it was noted that Edward Snowden, who is nothing of a prince, hosted Epstein, Maxwell, and Weinstein at one of his properties. The date was not mentioned, and I've forgotten where it was, but this was BBC and they are reputable. Lying must be in style because Edward says he never met Virginia while there are multiple photos of them together.

So like any self-respecting incorrigibly sentimental Irish sap, I spent the last third of that with Sky and Amanda a perpetual waterworks and wrecking my monthly Kleenex budget. The strength that they so obviously take in their love for each other is incredibly moving. Sky just seems like such a good dude, someone you'd want to coach your son's Little League. He could be the poster boy for pro-social masculinity. And Amanda adores her husband, but not through any Biblically mandated subservience, but because they both speak and feel with the same mind.

The butterfly is a wonderful symbol. And this is wonderful French progressive jazz:

Thanks Rick: I'm just an old white guy and after listening to Amy, you Rick and her family my heart is aching , my belly is full of controlled rage and my eyes are all mist up. These bastards should be exposed and held to account. Betrayal is the correct word. Virginia and all the other young ladies that have been raped and brutalized by these rich and powerful perverts must be listened to. They are all carrying the pain and torture for the rest of their lives. Its not a left or right issue its truly a vicious crime. Any politician who votes no to the release of the Epstein files should never sit in government again. Pedophile protectors. Mike Johnson, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel do what is right and go against the mad mental patient and release these files.

I was so moved by Nobody's Girl. I think SOAR should sell those butterfly pins and use the proceeds for good works. They would be a powerful symbol for girls trapped in abuse, if they saw grown Men and women wearing them. And at the next No Kings March, everyone should wear a butterfly.

Sky and Amanda Roberts are doing their sister proud. I always tear up when I hear them. Lovely people who are doing a service to survivors and to all decent Americans. I stand with Sky and Amanda, Virginia, and all the survivors. End the coverup. Release the files. I imagine the corruption they will expose will implicate not only the bigwig abusers, but also intelligence and criminal justice services, as well as financial institutions in the US, Israel, Russia and likely other places. Earthquake is the word that comes to mind, which is likely why they’ve been covered up this long.

I planned on watching 10 minutes of this then commenting. Call it my glib gene if you’d like

I sat transfixed for the entirety. Could not turn it off.

I am speechless. And I 100% expect the GOP to attack her with the ferocity of a military excursion. Because Christians

So like everything else in our world, this sad, tragic, infuriating story will will get worse. And the next chapter will be that cunt Maxwell getting pardoned and paid handsomely to STFU

Thank you for this Rick
