There is one thing people seem to not notice. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook owns your contacts, not you. If you quit, you cannot take your audience with you. Substack and Bluesky are different: you own your audience. I wrote a short piece to explain this: https://open.substack.com/pub/4two/p/how-to-own-your-audience

A mass protest is our best hope while we still have a right to assemble!

Bluesky is the answer to all twitter problems.

You posted about alternatives to Twitter on Substack but didn’t list Substack as one of the alternatives.

I'm so happy for you to be able to find an echo chamber that's like the one Twitter was before.

it's weird that you hadn't by now figured out that your opinions are opinions and not fact

Mastodon is the place. You should be there.

True, twitter changed its meaning, but why?!

Not chasing a market and I’m small account. My next venture is Sez.us.

Brian Stelter gave it a plug. That’s good enough for me and your observation cemented my decision.

But for now I love the mix of Rene and Rick etc on Threads. It’s life.

It’s lovely to look ahead specially when I’ve been immersed in Blues music for 3 weeks.

Wished someone would write an “I’ve got the election blues” song.

360K tweets over 15 years? Over 65 per day. Why?

I woke up this morning, and Elon Reeve Musk followed me on Bluesky. Huh? I blocked him. A bunch of developers followed me in the same batch. (Retired software developer here.) I followed them back, but I dunno. Is the beginning of a siege campaign to ruin Bluesky? I find it hard to believe he would target me. I'm nobody, and I got nothing to steal.
