A little thought experiment…

A BILL

To reverse all Executive Orders and related actions of President Donald J. Trump during his second administration, and to restore all programs, funding, and regulations terminated, reduced, or suspended thereby.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the Restoration of America Governance Act.

SECTION 2. NULLIFICATION OF EXECUTIVE ACTIONS.

(a) All Executive Orders, Presidential Proclamations, Memoranda, directives, and regulatory actions issued by President Donald J. Trump on or after January 20, 2025, are hereby repealed, revoked, and of no force or effect.

SECTION 3. RESTORATION OF PROGRAMS AND FUNDING.

(a) All programs, offices, and initiatives eliminated, reduced, or suspended by any action described in Section 2 are hereby reinstated.

(b) All funding rescinded, reallocated, or withheld by any such action is hereby restored to the levels and purposes in effect on January 19, 2025.

SECTION 4. IMPLEMENTATION.

All agencies of the Federal Government shall take immediate action to carry out the provisions of this Act, notwithstanding any prior directive to the contrary.

SECTION 5. SEVERABILITY.

If any provision of this Act is held invalid, the remainder shall not be affected.

I’m no legislative technician, but writing this actually made me feel a little better about this old world. These are just a few ideas. What would you add?
