I’m gonna save this post so I can read it over and over when I’m feeling down!

Only a moron would ever take advice from Mike Johnson who’s mealie mouse lying sounds false just come out of his mouth. It doesn’t matter what he’s talking about. You can tell by the way his eyes are around and he’s got Napoleon syndrome.

Adam Kinsinger promised that if he were elected President, he'd remove every ounce of Trump and Trumpism from our government. I might be a registered Dem, but I'd vote for that faster than 'ole Donny boy could take out a bucket of fried chicken as entry to behind the curtains at the next Miss Teen USA pageant.

Gas is now around $8 a gallon near SFO.

Rick, I am curious your thoughts about what could Trump do, if anything, to turn around his terrible polls number AND what messaging Republican candidates are likely to run on?

Come on out to California. $6/gal gas arrived here a few weeks ago.

Christ, I wish I could write half as well as this, lol. Rick - where do you get the time? Did you study English at all?

WOW Rick, I think your final line, "The cornered animal is the most dangerous, and this one has nowhere left to run," scares me the most. As a Canadian, I hope we never rue the day that we share the border with the USA.

At one point, Trump couldn't put a foot wrong. So much so that his brag about being able to shoot somebody in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose a single vote wasn't far off the mark. But when the tide turns, boy, does it turn. Trump keeps running the same plays that used work. Every time. Now they fall flat like the cheap theatrics they are, and the audience isn't clapping. Even the Saudis, the cash cows of Trump family, are freaking out about money because of the Iran quagmire and have pulled out their bone saw golf association. You might say they've hit Trump where he LIVs. The guy who once seemed made of Teflon is now stuck to a glue trap every way he turns. And I love this for him.

Nice one Rick. Donny the Biggest Loser, and new clown shows every minute. Vance the second biggest loser. His SecDef reciting “biblical quotes” from Quentin Tarantino script delivered by Samuel L Jackson today. And his portrayal by Iranian video with Netanyahu holding on to a door into the Arctic Ocean in a Hollywood cinema spoof of the Titanic. Classic.

I've read that there's always 20% of a population in every country in the world that prefers authoritarianism to any other form of government. So that approval rate for Trump will probably never go lower than 20% no matter how bad things get. Also, there's a certain percentage of mentally ill people who don't realize that they are mentally ill, and they tend to side with Trump, too.

As far as Catholic world goes, it's well understood in the TX evangelical crowd that they are required to hate Catholics. Some even consider any sitting Pope to be a probable anti-Christ. Vance has been swayed by some loony (but filthy rich) Catholic extremists that the Pope probably wouldn't recognize as Catholic. In any case, religion DOES NOT BELONG in the public schools, nor should it dictate any laws in this country.

MAY 1st Use it or lose it BUT, we must act on these reports. Don't it make your heart ack? Do you fell like just, scream at the top of your lungs and say " WHAT THE F**k!!!"? Open our eyes to topics that matters. And now, there are other ORGS. that step in to walk the talk. Let's all get it done. "MAYDAY STRONG" May 1st...... This is a DEFIANCE.org Members-only post. You are in the “club for the courageous.” That means every month you’re contributing to efforts to save the American republic. Thank you. See what you’ve recently helped achieve. DEFIANCE.ORG. Weekly Mission: We're making sure America is "May Day" ready for mass walkouts. DEFIANCE.org is backing May Day Strong to show that workers and students around the country won't put up with "Epstein class" corruption BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: WE’RE MOBILIZING AGAINST TRUMP AND HIS OLIGARCHS. The beating heart of DEFIANCE.org is our Weekly Mission Briefing. Every Wednesday at 5p ET, we take real action to counter Donald Trump’s abuses of power. This week, our mission is about what’s coming on May 1st. A coordinated national strike — workers, students, and consumers walking off the job, out of school, and away from their shopping carts — all on the same day. If you only have 30 seconds, here’s what we did: we announced we’re funding one of the most important national strikes (planned for May 1st) — and giving DEFIANCE.org Members ways to plug in. THE DETAILS FIRST, we convened key coalition members behind May Day Strong. On May 1, 2026, workers, students, and families will rally, march, and take action across the country in protest of Trump’s pro-billionaires corruption. No School. No Work. No Shopping. Alex Han (May Day Strong & ACRE) walked us through the planned day of action and the goals behind it. He also laid out the historical stakes plainly: worker strength and democracy strength are deeply interlinked. Logan Keith (50501) brought the electoral argument home. Working-class voters who handed Trump two victories feel abandoned now. The opposition doesn’t win them back with vibes. It wins them back by meeting them on kitchen-table issues. This event is CRUCIAL grassroots organizing ahead of the midterms. SECOND, we announced DEFIANCE.org is going to help fund May Day actions. We announced a $20,000 investment into two groups (Sunrise Movement and Democracy Takes Work) for their May Day Strong efforts to counter Trump — investment that will be VITAL “muscle building” to get millions into the streets when we need them, especially on Election Day, November 3. As DEFIANCE.org Members, you told us your biggest worry was this coming election. And we listened. We must get good at lighting-fast grassroots “action” in anticipation of Trump trying to steal our elections. May Day will be a powerful moment to do that. Sunrise Movement’s Aru Shiney-Ajay talked about how they will use their efforts on May 1 to mobilize young people and students. Democracy Takes Work’s Siena Chang told us how they’re getting tech workers to stand up to their CEOs and demand they cease collaboration with the Trump administration that could be used to repress the American people through lawless surveillance, arrests, and deportations. Take care to you and yours everybody, Defiance with conviction, proudly, loudly, and with ALOHA...
