There will be nothing historically consequential with regard to Trump's Presidencies that is American. To be a consequential President, the American people must want to follow Trump's lead. Trump has been strategically fortunate in his political opposition in 20150-16 and again in 2024. Trump lost quite easily in 2020. In addition, Trump benefitted by extensive gerrymandering through SCOTUS' gutting of major provisions of The Voting Rights Act. Add in the Citizens' United SCOTUS decision, and the incredible transformation of technology in general, the U.S. was presented with a perfect storm for the political mayhem it is now experiencing.
The storm will end, Americans will come to realize the actual evil that is Trump. He and his supporters will be relegated to the dustbin of history in the ignoble manner in which they were germinated and allowed to grow. Trump/MAGA/Project 2025 will be denied significance, and, eventually dismantled as threats to our American democracy. I sincerely believe this.
His cruelty, ignorance, and hatred for the very principles of our Constitution will earn Trump the oblivion he so desperately deserves. In Trump's attempts to disappear our American history, he shall be disappeared in the minds and hearts of his countrymen and women. Trump has not earned the label "consequential President".

Trump is a corrupt, declining President, who has already delegitimized himself through multiple failures to uphold that law and the Constitution. You're right, he may take any number of violent, hateful, un-American actions before we are finally rid of him. Trump or his traitorous minions in Congress may try to prevent a peaceful transfer of power in 2028. There is a story about Osama bin Laden, that he reportedly told one of his lieutenants that America is a "paper tiger", that our appearance of strength is a false front, and he was betting that the US would react to an attack with only words. The lieutenant disagreed, and tried to tell bin Laden that the US would never stop hunting him. But bin Laden believed his own religious indoctrination, that the West was too decadent to fight. He was too sunk in his own ideology to fear us, the American people. I reflected on this story as we lifted a glass to bin Laden's demise on the day his body was dropped in the deep ocean. All of bin Laden's sons and lieutenants are also dead. This story is an illuminating metaphor for Trump and his cult followers. He is too demented, and his followers are too sunk in propaganda, to fully apprehend the risks they take. Americans are devoted to our democratic processes, and we will conform to them, until we can't. We would be slow to give up on the power of the people's vote, and slow to accept that we must fight. But, anyone deluded enough to think they can destroy the democratic republic, or that they can use violence against the American people, and somehow survive and intimidate us into abandoning the republic, is also entirely unprepared for 350m American adults, who own 500m firearms, to lose hope for a peaceful transfer of power.
It doesn't take a court order to reverse Executive Orders, especially not ones that contradict existing treaties approved by Congress and signed by a President. The next President can reverse them. Nothing Trump has done has been legal, and all Americans would realize that if our gutless, irresponsible, complicit mainstream media told them. We all must support pro democracy alternative media, because they are the future. National mainstream media outlets have killed themselves by bending the knee to Trump. We won't forget.
Why can this garbage not be undone as quickly as it was done? A new president can come in and use the EO to undo. Assume we have a trifecta of sensible people again.

About the tariffs…I hope future leaders in your country will amend this, to reflect a more mature and just tone of behaviour, however long it takes. It is your people that are paying these taxes. At the rate you are going, ‘we the people’ will not be able to sustain the pressure. Just review how offensive this has been towards the rest of the world.Im sure not many of us have been ripping you off for years. The trade blocks have shifted, so if you want to restore reasonable trade with the rest of the world, I am sure there are better ways of doing this.
