He and his bestie, The Donald, engaged in sexual abuse. However, their falling out was caused by the real estate scoop, where The Donald bought the house from under Epstein. Epstein knew that the Donald didn’t have the money to pay for it and suspected it was a(nother) money laundering scam… because the house was purchased shortly thereafter by a Russian man for twice as much money. Epstein said as much to the Donald (and, later, to Michael Wolff). The Donald was angry with Epstein who suspected that the Donald was the one who called the cops on him the first time around. But the Donald also arranged for a sweetheart plea deal so that Epstein would not really be punished, only a little slap on the wrist by his (former) bestie who knew everything. When Epstein told this story to Wolff and Wolff then published it in his book, Epstein was promptly arrested again when he arrived in the USA. This time, however, Epstein could reveal more about the Donald’s laundering business and his Russian benefactors. Mysteriously, Epstein died. Whether the Donald requested this or his Russian benefactors or others did him a favor, we may never know. But many many people have a special interest in keeping the Donald right where he is… propped up in a white and gold palace he has no intention of leaving. The people who know and are keeping quiet are also aware of what happened to Epstein. They have every reason to keep their mouths shut because of the powerful people involved.
We all know that Ghislaine Maxwell is a monster not only for her own heinous criminal acts, but also a twice-indicted perjurer who refused to talk at her own trial. Nothing she says has any business being taken at face value and any public testimony will be valueless without corroboration.
But I'm more concerned right now about how MAGA is going to process this. She was indicted and arrested in '19 by the Trump DoJ and convicted in '21. In order to paint her as a victim, they have to discount all the witnesses. They have to convince themselves that she, herself, is not a pedophile. That's a tall order and already a big chunk of the podosphere doesn't seem to be buying it. But what's the FOX narrative going to be? What about Megyn Kelly and Candace Owens? How is Karoline Leavitt going to turn Maxwell's hideous reputation around?
My gut tells me that MAGA will barf it all back out, but my gut's been wrong before.

Maxwell claims that the sweetheart non-prosecution agreement Alex Acosta and Epstein entered into includes a provision not to prosecute any of Epstein's co-conspirators. But if Maxwell was out of Epstein's orbit between 2003/4-2010, she wouldn't covered by that NPA. Interesting......
Vicky Ward's depth and breadth of knowledge about this shady case and its players is extraordinary.
It is extremely disturbing the level in which our justice system can be subverted. Laws are the bedrock of society and if no longer can be trusted, society will fail.
She does not qualify for the Stockholm Syndrome defense - which I see coming before the end of this. Even Lucretia Borgia, debauched by her own father, the Borgia Pope, never sank so low.
So, part of the reason to put someone like her in a maximum security prison is (yes) to protect other prisoners from her. But it's also to protect her. Historically, infamous criminals were kept in extremely high security settings to keep them alive from anyone who might want revenge. Given she's still holding the secrets of a bunch of powerful people and giving the ending of her partner, is it possible Trump didn't do this to do a favor?
