The brain continues to regenerate as we get older. In addition to becoming wiser, he can enhance all the features of intelligence (which, by the way psychologists haven't yet defined). You've proven your intelligent worth as has Biden. Thanks you for your observations.
Very well said. There is a reason many indigenous societies revered their elders. Some modern cultures still do. They carry the knowledge base and transmit the cultural values that hold the group together. Maybe we could learn something from those “primitive” people.

In retrospect Joe Biden was made for this time - I don't know that anyone else who could have navigated the post Trump mess of our economy, covid, and our diminished standing in the world.. Then add the world in crisis with Russia invading Ukraine and Hamas attacking Isreal, multiple climate disasters, etc. He's faced it all with such clarity and empathy. He's moved forward some groundbreaking legislation to bring jobs to communities, repair infrastructure, lower drug costs, and so much more. He re-united us with our allies, and is such a good human that regardless of his choices you know they come from his wisdom, compassion, very clear moral compass, and his love for country.
Joe knows this job. He’s been around it, with it and part of it for decades. And why is he so good at it. And why do I feel comforted by his bona fides that few in DC have? Wisdom, experience and age. Age.
Amen to everything you said. We're in a worldwide fight between democracy and authoritarianism. Anyone who fails to understand this struggle will be blindly swept into the chaos of death and destruction the authoritarians are lusting to bring to us all.
My heart is broken for those suffering in the catastrophe now in progress.
My mind reels at the insanity on display by the Republicans.
Since 2015 I have struggled to see tfg and his sycophants and followers as fellow Americans who have been hoodwinked. No longer! No longer can I consider them hapless victims of the puppet masters pulling the strings of tfg. The reasonable voices have been raised from the beginning, and they have chosen not to make sincere efforts at studying and learning truth. They are willfully ignorant and proud of it. If ever they were in possession of moral or ethical compasses, they’ve abandoned them. Now I must struggle to limit my perception of these people to “human.”
