The magae voters in my family wanted the tax cut for the wealthy, the abortion ban to 6wks, scorch earth of left virtue signaling agenda. They made a Faustian bargain, giving up the stance of Burkean limited government. Seriously doubt they would ever vote differently, no matter how depraved the Republicans. Cry in the wilderness ,”Does truth matter anymore?”

The fact that there are so many beneficiaries of the current Trumpian system will really cause tits to be in the wringers. I don’t think it will be a clean break. I think it will be death by 1000 cuts, and ugly for everyone. What emerges in its place won’t, I don’t think, be a reversion to the past. We’re beyond that, in uncharted territory.

I live in hope. If you are reading the signs correctly, I'm ecstatic. I'm waiting for Rupert Murdoch to drop another bomb, not just the birthday book, but maybe a witness or two. Who knows? Maybe he has found Jesus in his declining days and wants to make amends of some sort. Or, he just hates Trump's guts and wants to take him out because...he can. Thanks for the prediction, Rick. I sure hope you are correct, you usually are. And with this Maxwell pardon dust-up, it is likely to result in Ghislaine's ultimate downfall because ETTDs.

My suspicion is that this really isn't about Murdoch. I think it's about the WSJ having a very good source on the inside. Keith Olbermann's theory of the case, and atm it's a conspiracy theory, is that Elon is doing the leaking. I mean, after all, his DOGE boyz had access to all of the government's computers. Settling the suit would be a needless black eye to the WSJ's journalistic integrity because their odds of losing are vanishingly small.

I've thought that too, that Elon has the goods, the files. If his businesses keep crashing and he gets tired of working, he can always spend time trolling Trump. Without need for government approval of his business, Elon could be unleashed. Couldn't happen to two nicer guys.

I think we owe it to the victims to ‘fight like hell’ to get the truth out. Please consider platforming them on alllll the podcasts.

Thanks, Rick!

Yes, there are cracks in MAGA castle walls. But, while I would love to agree entirely with Rick’s thesis and brilliant writing; I feel like Charlie with the football. I

Is Vance going to be more effective than Lucy? He’s certainly more ambitious and has “friends” in all the right places —

But remember: there will only be one chance to “get the king” and the time is not yet right.

The amount of flailing trump has been doing has been comical to watch. He makes himself look more guilty with every utterance and every nonsensical comment. If he’d figured out early on to keep his trap shut, he might have sealed that crack. But now every stupid attempt at a distraction, every idiotic conjecture about how it’s a hoax makes the crack open a little wider. 😌

"The MAGA mind isn’t built to survive ambiguity. It thrives on moral absolutism, binary choices, and an eternal victim complex. Trump’s base doesn’t just support him. They are one with him; emotionally, spiritually, politically, temperamentally. Admitting his flaw is admitting their own. They’d rather choke on hypocrisy than sip truth."

Absolutely brillant phrasing and so true. As a dyed-in-the-wool progressive Liberal, I can survive ambiguity. I don't tolerate any "leader" who is a pedo, no matter which Party they are in. There are plenty more talented individuals out there to take their place.

This is brilliant.

I’m not sure chaos will outwardly erupt — too embarrassing for MAGA. I think the base doesn’t revolt, but never recovers or reconciles. It’s on a lethal LSD trip now; inner certainty is eroding irreversibly.

Instead of rioting, MAGA degrades into performance without belief — fading applause at a nearly empty Fecalville Agri-Center. The crowd sizes diminish until there’s nothing but vast, visible emptiness, and that will haunt and hurt him more than anything for all his days.
