The Ukraine will become a minor nuclear weapons power
About that. Just remember that back in the day after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Ukraine held a not insignificant amount of nuclear weapons, and wisely (perhaps) gave them up. Had they kept even a few, Putin might have had second thoughts on the Crimea, let alone the invasion of the Ukraine itself.

Then again, the modern catapults will once again be replaced with steam ones and the pilots approaching for landing will strain to see through the coal smoke emanating from their mobile landing field.

And behind the scenes is a power struggle between factions/families. It’s a believable scenario when you look at ‘Putin’s’ public appearances of late.
