First, if you haven’t voted early and still can, put this down and return to it later…I mean it. No excuses. If you’re waiting until election day, please have a plan, water, snacks, comfortable shoes, extra power for your phone, and patience. You’re going to need it.

No one ever wants to make a call like this for fear of being wrong, but you’ll be shocked to learn that even road-weary folks like me only know the things we know and that are knowable.

In the words of the beat poet Donald Rumsfeld, there are unknown unknowns about this election.

But here we go:

We will win this one. I wouldn’t change places with the other side’s campaign for all of Elon’s money.
