The Friday Brief

After several weeks of travel and way too much work, a knockdown cold and fever caught up with me late Wednesday night and I’m flat on my back. I very rarely get sick, and hate it when I do. It’s not COVID — I tested — just some kind of spring/travel crud.

I feel like leftover hell and when I finish this I’m going back to bed.

The Big Picture

Joe Biden’s State of the Union should settle this crapulous conventional wisdom media trope of “He’s too old” once and for damn all. I know this narrative was beloved of both the MAGA and mainstream media, but it’s done now. Over. Finished. Also, Democrats, now you have a perfect way to shut this garbage talking point down; “You saw that State of the Union speech. Joe Biden is sharper than Donald Trump and ready for the fight.”
