Somehow, Democrats keep letting dubious polls, GOP-engineered electoral panics, and bothsides media coverage lead them to shocking election nights. Winning elections they think they might not win and keep finding themselves overperforming in tough races since 2017 should have taught them a lesson or two, but here we are.
