First Up: Thank you.

Earlier this week, I asked you for a favor with the Webby Awards, and I am overwhelmed by your outstanding and gracious support for our nomination. Thank you hardly seems adequate to express my gratitude, but this community rocketed us to first place within a few hours.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The Big Picture

Trump wants the race to be about crime, immigration, and Old Joe Biden. Biden wants the race to be about the economy and a contrast to Trump. The third element that’s coming, whether they want it or not, is that this will be an election about women.

Molly Jong-Fast and I discussed it at length during the Breakdown last night. Still, the MAGA GOP’s post-Dobbs reality — 6-week abortion bans, attacks on IVF, and open attacks on birth control — is driving a massive wedge with women inside the GOP, with independent women, and often in unexpected degrees and places.
