Feel better soon, Rick. I spent most of 2024 fighting to recover from mold exposure and negative side effects from prednisone. It kept me from being active in the fight. I posted online, I donated what I could, i voted. All I can say is that the Dems are weak and ineffective and have been for most of my adult life. I'm an independent and sign up for whatever party in order to vote in primaries but dislike both sides. I turned 68 in November so I'm pissed that SS and Medicare are in danger. No one is yelling loud enough to save them.
Trump won enough swing-state votes to clinch the prize. All discussions of narrow margins are moot. And Elmo dropping $300M of sofa-change bought himself a fine senile rent-boy. Citizens United bore some fine fruit, exactly as planned.
Keep an eye out for 25A rumors in the next 6mo. Shady Vance has the House and Senate at his back, plus SCOTUS.
