The Missouri 2nd Congressional District is gettable. MIA Ann Wagner typically squeaks over the finish line by from 4 points during the Blue Wave year in 2018 to 12 points last year.
The corrupt MAGA Missouri legislature gerrymandered the hell out of the state, but the 2nd looks pretty much of a wash. They kept most of the southern part of the St. Louis suburbs and extended it down to pick up MAGA land in the rural Washington and Franklin counties, but those vote totals are small compared to the population around St. Louis.
Fred has four others running in the primary. A doctor, plumber, a Goldman Saks guy, and a school teacher. The doctor is also running for congress in California - so he's got no chance. The plumber seems not to have much organization, neither does the Goldman guy, and the school teacher, Joan VonDras, appears to be taking it seriously.
Fred's got a chance if he runs hard, and there's time since it's a long time until the primary in August. Good luck to him, I hope he takes Rick's campaign slogan and runs with it:
"This is crazy. Trump is hurting you [farmers, factory workers, self employed]. We will fix it.”
I hope both gentlemen win.
Community is the secret sauce for all Dems running.
If I was in NYC George would have my vote.
