Bet Trump doesn't know these two things about TR: 1. He left the party when it abandoned the principles he believed in, and 2. He died of natural causes at 60. So being the rough-tough physical man didn't help him much in the end. By the way, Mark Twain, who was alive in the TR era, hated TR. I think for two things: He perceived him to be a narcissist, and TR didn't stop or punish an atrocity committed against old men, women, and children in the Philippines by American troops.
Twain hated war, and especially the harming and killing of non-combatants.

But Trump is true to HIMSELF: He's done the same things his whole life because that is who he is: Grifter, con man, constant liar, rapist, constant breaker of oaths, constant adulterer, constant thief, constant racist and misogynist. The problem is that his base LOVES that about him.
