It came to me in an epiphany that Republicans absolutely do not care about whether women live or die. Biblically, women get what they deserve after Eve. Pain and death in childbirth? Shrug. No health care with complications? Shrug. My evangelical brother called me after my ectopic pregnancy surgery and asked if it was as a boy. Idiocy and misogyny.
