My theory on why polling has been so consistently wrong in the last 10 years:
A decent % of those being polled are ashamed to admit they support Trump and assholes like Paxton, Ted Cruz, Hawley and the rest. Add Eric Schmitt to the list.
So they lie.
Or ... they say they're undecided, which is the biggest folly of all.
Days before the '24 election I kept reading folks here and elsewhere saying "undecideds are breaking for Kamala". No they weren't. Anyone who bought that - I didn't - was intellectually lazy.
If someone claimed to be undecided after 8 years of Trump's lies, Russia, crimes and a coup ... was not to be believed. Not serious people. But they had a vote and voted for his ass
This is why I have zero faith in polls; and throw in the fact that there will be a well organized effort to steal these elections and ... NOBODY should trust polls

This is my favorite show. It appeals to those of us that watch election results streaming with Steve Kornaki. More poles and more technical analysis is just fine.

I think that when the Dems take back the house and hopefully the Senate they need to re-invent themselves. 1) Jeffries is either not the Speaker or he is pressured into strengthening his approach and held to it by his caucus. 2) Schumer not voted as head of the Senate. We need a new younger face with lots of strength and bold clear messaging and action. 3) pass an ethics bill for all in government and in the Supreme Court, age limit, term limits, no stock trading, etc. 4) start investigations into the corruption throughout the government and agencies with impeachments starting with Hegseth. 5) reclaim their power in tariffs, wars, and power of the purse to clip trumps spending and monuments to himself, 6) take back control of the Kennedy Center and the Reflecting Pool. Take Trump’s bane off all buildings and remove all banners outside of buildings. They gave to walk, jump, skip rope and chew gum at the same time! The people want fighters and clear strong messaging with direct frequent communication. And get the press back in the Whitehouse and Air Force One. If the people pay the pilots and the fuel then it is ours and Trump does not call the shots! The people call it through the House!!!
Neither Schumer or Jeffries are up to leading accountability, busting corruption or reform. Both received big money from the Epstein Class and have a stake in appeasing them
2016 and 2024 showed how unreliable polls are. No thanks
