What also needs to be said is that all the complacent AIPAC, other big PAC owned Democrats need to be voted out of office as well. Schumer needs to step down or be voted down as Senate Minority (or Leader if we are lucky enough to take the Senate back) as he is as corrupt as the day is long and as useful as tits on a boar hog. We can try to change laws to put accountability in place, however with the old guard there standing in the way or even totally blocking the success of a vote it will never be accomplished. They don't want to give up their steady income of bribes either. I'm sure I am not alone in being fed up with the corruption in either party at this point. They couldn't be bothered to hold Trump and the rest of them accountable in 2021, I fear that they will do nothing again.
We need younger, stronger people who are just as sick of corruption and the elites, as the rest of us are, running for office. Big and dark money has to be stopped from controlling our government and our politicians. Citizens United must be obliterated and instead a new law that prevents corporate, lobbyist and PAC donations to ANY candidate or sitting member of Congress. Look up your representatives FDA's and see for yourself what they are worth, their income and who it is from. It's sickening. It is obscene the amount of money that is spent on elections which could be put to so much better uses. It is also obscene how all these corrupt politicians have amassed millions from those PACS and their insider trading-yet another thing that has to be stopped to succeed. I have no doubt that plenty of good, capable, honest people have been deterred from running for office for years now due to the ridiculous sums of money needed to compete in politics in this country today. And this 2 year+ campaign circus needs to end as well. We all must fight to end this.

My hope is that we WILL make the wealthy and inordinately powerful pay through a combination of appropriate taxation; financial investigation and, if applicable, jail time; the destruction of monopolies and price gouging, and anything else that forces the richest of the rich to get in line with the rest of us "lowly" citizens. I definitely believe that most Americans are SICK AND TIRED of criminal cases for the upper crust being slow walked into oblivion!
