Bruce and I watched the West Wing and loved the actors/ actresses playing their parts. We were in DC and visited congress…when literally you could walk right in and out without being frisked or ID’d. ( in the 90’s)
Yes, visiting The White House is back on my bucket list again! It will be me and my grandchildren stepping over the thresh-hold of democracy!
Thank you Rick. You’ve made a lot of good trouble on our country’s behalf and on behalf of our fellow Americans. I consider you a national treasure and frankly, an excellent roll model for men young and old. You embody the quintessential American characteristic of doggedness in the face of overwhelming challenges. And you know how to be a real SOB for the greatest cause. I'm comforted that you will continue the fight for democracy after this election. It will take considerable time to rinse this undemocratic evil from within.
