What this ad has done is created a firestorm on X. Having heard of threats of cars not starting, IDs stolen by men, and being forced to sign absentee ballots filled out by husbands, thought I would look at reactions. Covered the landscape. From denying a wife would ever do that, to no republican wife would do that, to canvassers recounting their experiences of wives saying yes but don’t tell him , to women saying next stop divorce lawyer, to even those reliving childhood trauma of fathers yelling at mothers for whom they voted.

Now for those who are in relationships with mutual respect and independence this was a good smile and cheer. But for others this cuts to the heart. We need to remember that We also need to remember the woman who voted for the first time at age 81. Her husband did not believe in women voting but he died last year. This year she voted women’s suffrage is ongoing.

Good job

I once wanted a job with the local police. I lived in a very Republican area. I was a new naturalized American. It was suggested that I register R. I did. I got the job. I NEVER EVER VOTED R. It is a private action.where you vote your consciousness. I know who I am. I am a PROUD,AMERICAN DEMOCRAT
