There was a substantial Tesla Takedown protest here in Camarillo, Ventura county CA. The counter-demonstrators drove a lot of new shiny Biden Economy trucks, and were annoyed at the whole protesting thing. Lots of Chinese MAGA flag-flair too.
Just left the takedown demonstration in front of the Tesla dealership in Irvine, right in the middle of Republican stronghold Orange County, CA. We got a huge number of horn honks in support, thumbs up, etc. We even got two loud and long honks from big semi-trucks. Very surprised, and slightly encouraged. I will be there next Sat and will bring others.
I saw a spirited TakedownTesla event today next to an intersection in suburban MA South Shore. Huge traffic jam because ALL the cars were slowing down and honking in support! Including me!!! I’m marching April 5 in Boston in the Hands Off rally at the capital. My sister will be marching on Maui! Let’s do this!!!
