Question...Why do you think Murdock is now turning on Trump? Is it possible that Trump has gone so far that it's too much for the Murdock's to tolerate?

I don't think Murdoch is turning on Trump per se. FOX and the NYPost certainly haven't turned on Trump. I think what it is is that the WSJ is a trophy property for Murdoch, who comes out of the tabloid world. Could Murdoch have spiked the WSJ stories if he wanted to? Yes. He didn't do it because he doesn't want to radio control the WSJ's news side, which has an excellent journalistic reputation and isn't a tabloid entertainment organ like FOX and the NYPost.

Murdoch’s motive for not killing the story? I think I answered my own question. WSJ is only on story #2. Much more terrible/delicious items to come. JD visited Murdoch’s before Story #1. Rick’s fictional account of this meeting was great.

At this point, I imagine Trump was also involved financially in the child trafficking. I mean, he’s Trump. If he knew Epstein was making money, he’d want in.

Thanks for the video, Rick. Donald Trump being at least mentioned in the Epstein investigation files, is the least surprising thing to emerge about Trump in the last 10 years. This is a man who has already being adjudicated as a sexual assaulted in New York, resulting in two different juries awarding his victim over $80 million dollars. This is man who has been ordered to pay over $400 million in restitution for tax and insurance fraud by the state of New York. This is a man who incited a mob to storm our U.S. Capitol, that then tried to murder the Vice President of the United States, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and any other U.S. Senator or member of Congress that they could find. This man has been convicted of 34 felony counts. This man had been indicted for an additional 70 counts for inciting the riot at the U.S. Capitol and the theft of classified documents and obstruction of justice for his subsequent attempts to mis-lead and cause his lawyers to commit perjury to avoid returning these documents (government property).

Watching this cover-up of the Epstein affair will be fun to watch. Although, I was not originally convinced that sufficient evidence of criminal behavior by Trump was part of the Epstein scandal, Trump's behavior looks like someone who is guilty of something evil and vile.

Cautiously allowing myself a speck of hope this takes down 47, yet realistically he always slithers out. Then what? The cult won’t accept a Dollar Store chode like Vance as their new messiah. I’d still bet on the MAGAe scraping up a few cells of cognitive dissonance to rebrand being part of a pedo ring as alpha stud male creds. But the Vegas level entertainment of a dumpster fire going on sure is satisfying to watch!

I'm leaving the WSJ Nukes Trump tab open for awhile to see if the trolls keep trickling in. I love Rick's open threads because, while I'm a good respectful commenter here with our peeps, I adore humiliating trolls ;) Yesterday two of them were trying to make ObamaGate happen, LOL

Trump did this to himself. As early as '06 after his falling out with Epstein over a real estate feud, he knew Epstein's reputation was a barrel of toxic waste around his neck so without the prompting of a subpoena, entirely of his own accord, he turned state's evidence against his former running buddy in his first Florida prosecution. That's when he made up the story that he had Epstein ejected from his club for being creepy with a member's teenage daughter and this was the reason for their falling out. No, real estate jealousy is the reason they fell out.

When he started running for president he had no desire to wade back into the Epstein toxic sludge. Even in '24, he did little to promote the Epstein files conspiracy theory; that was all his wacky surrogate influencers (talking to you, Bongino and Patel). But in '15, QAnon had gotten off the ground and it was very useful for demonizing Hillary Clinton. The gnomic Q drops on 4chan (QAnon hadn't migrated to Facebook yet) taught them how to parse, and this was golden when John Podesta, he of the atrocious password hygiene, had his emails slapped up on Wikileaks. John Podesta's home cooked pizza recipes became code for Satanic adrenochrome festivals starring Hillary Clinton in a pizzeria basement. And this fit like a glove with Epstein. After all, he was a real life child sex trafficker who hung out with the Satanic global elite. In a very important way, Jeffrey Epstein made QAnon happen.

So Trump rode the QAnon tiger which became the Epstein tiger. And he's about to get eaten by it.

Yum ;)

Wonder how much Trump is paying Todd Blanche… this is going to bankrupt him (again) if he has to pay ALL his cover-up accomplices in Congress.

Trump knew he was featured in the Epstein files after the FBI raided Epstein's 'Paradise Island' in 2019, and Bill Barr took possession of the Epstein files for 'safekeeping'. It's inconceivable that they didn't go through those files to see who was implicated. That's how Trump captured the GOP and bent Republican lawmakers to his will.

Boy, howdie! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Add one more brick to the net wrapped around Trump as he dangles over the ocean (where sharks are swimming): The attorney for 200+ of the girls and women who were trafficked announced that the 50th Birthday Book is in the hands of Epstein's estate and that all it will take is a subpoena...and he says they will be glad to comply. I've no doubt that Murdoch is laughing his ass off right now; Trump libel suit closed. It pleases me to think that this motherfucker is having sleepless nights, losing his mind, frantically trying every distraction he can think of...to no avail. Dems: keep you eyes on the prize. This thing's just getting started.
