You need to read Victor Kravchuk's post today called "Why Trump Needs You to Hate Him." Your hatred is going to kill you! It is understandable why you do, but spreading hate and division is what Trump wants. It keeps him up front for his MAGA cult and people can't move forward. Instead of empowering him we need to make him irrelevant. You are brilliant. Put your brilliance to that task. That little video was almost a bridge too far. You are better than that.
There are several false things about this. First, it is literally impossible to make the president of the United States irrelevant. Second, this is meant to cheer and entertain the troops; it is not a work of political persuasion. LP couldn't run it in TV markets because it's too obviously obscene. Any Trump voters who see it are incidental and they will, of course get furious.
In other words, it is a work of epic trolling. It may be intended (Rick can correct me if I'm wrong) to make the administration go ballistic and threaten a lawsuit. Rick will say bring it on and we'll have an epic First Amendment battle about the right to parody public figures.
Thomas Pynchon's novel Gravity's Rainbow was unanimously nominated for a Pulitzer Prize but the award was withdrawn because the advisory committee thought it was turgid, overwritten, unreadable and obscene. Which it, you know ... is ;)
Superb if nauseating.

Disagree totally
OMFG this is delicious. You guys rocked it!! I shared widely.
The video is vulgar gross, disgusting. Verging on surrealistic madness.

It's also the greatest American postwar novel.
