Hope you and all of yours have a glorious Fourth of July celebration. So many of the Candidates you spotlighted are my favorites. Small donations but still adding up in the end. I am a lifelong yellow dog Democrat. I have pinched my nose sometimes to vote but honestly I would rather be me and know I was on the right side of history for over 10 years. Done with the lying, racist, misogynist national embarrassment that trump and MAGA represent. Bet they do want to walk away…but I am not going to allow it

So Rick, here’s my thought regarding the Save America Act.
Let’s just say for shits and giggles that the Save America Act passes. And let’s say that we all get serious about it. Let’s say that Democrats and Republicans who are responsible get together and help everyone get their papers. People who you think can’t get a passport actually get a passport. The people we least expect to be able to get an official ID get a real ID. And let’s just say that we all figure out how to get our birth certificates and we all get them after a lot of headaches. So, in a period of time the majority of all eligible voters get their papers and get registered to vote.
And we vote. Do we really think that MAGA will just say, great. Thanks. Please vote for us. Of course not.
After all our hard work and efforts to cross that ocean they will figure out how to construct another set obstacles until nobody votes. That’s their only goal. So, let’s just say it out loud. They want a system of authoritarian rule and Save America Act is the tool that helps get them there.
As you continue to say, “if only we’d been warned.” Even if people somehow existed in a parallel universe in which the narrative was that Trump was a successful businessman, there cannot possibly be anyone who hasn’t been dead for months who believed he was anything but cruel and opportunistic; a man who would spit on you before he would do anything that would benefit you. And here we are. 🤬
