That sheer fact- that everything Felon47 touches, dies- is exactly WHY they want him in power. He's very good at destruction. Their sole intention is to raze this country, burn it to the ground, destroy it, so that they can 'reinvent' it to their own liking and benefit.

Regarding Chuck Schumer’s chanting … that was one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen. It ranks 1000 on the cringe scale (and it only goes up to 100) ... and he seemed so proud of himself. A brain-dead Mitch McConnell as Senate Minority Leader was more effective than Schmuck in gumming up the works. Even a neophyte named Tommy Tuberville was able to disrupt things for Biden when the Dems had control of the Senate. Schmuck just rolled over and played dead. If he was replaced by a wet noodle the results would be the same. People should picket his office and chant 'Chuck the Schmuck', where 'Chuck' is either a verb or a name (take your pick).

Of course this is really about Trump's erectile disfunction. His hat really means make Trump potent again. Remember how fascinated and envious with Arnold Palmer's manhood Trump was? Remember how envious of powerful men Trump has been in telling us about them? You know what’s coming. Trump envies and hates young men because at this stage in life, he can't ever have what they have. He is the typical old man dictator who starts a war to send young men to their deaths to both punish them and capture whatever they can steal for him in exchange for some ribbons, medals and fanfare. It makes him feel so strong and so potent again. The guy is a very sick racket.

Spending is actually higher than it was last year,

with the federal government spending $605 billion in February 2025

compared to about $567 billion in February 2024.

"The federal government incurred a deficit of

$308 billion in February 2025, CBO estimates

—$11 billion more than the deficit recorded last February,"

the report said.

I’d rather hear you do your Trump impression than you’re Bill Clinton. It’s a good Clinton, but it’s…… disturbing. I can do Yoda, Grover, and Miss Piggy. They’re all Frank Oz, of course. 🎶It’s time to meet the Muppets🎶

Following in the same vein as Sandra Tuttle's response to Deez, here are my two cents. Thank you for indulging my preamble story in advance because I'm extremely passionate about this.

As a Proud Canadian with countless relatives and friends in the wonderful USA, this is a heartfelt plea to all of my dearest American compadres.

As a very young gay man exploring my new-found reality in the 80’s and 90’s I had the misfortune to live through the rise and peak of the AIDS crisis. At the time, we watched in horror as way too many of our friends were dropping off like flies in the prime of their lives. But the reality was that it was only us who cared. The (mostly conservative) governments at the time ignored the massive deaths, the anguish, the inhumanity of what was happening. Their inaction was deadly.

But we fought back. And we came up with a simple slogan: SILENCE = DEATH (because this was the unvarnished truth). It became our rallying cry, to the point government and the health industries eventually started to pay attention. But it took years.

We are now in a totally different crisis that no longer is limited to one minority group. This will affect everyone, not only in the US, but globally, as we are already watching unfold.

Everyone can agree that government needs an overhaul. However, having a constellation of psychopaths take a wrecking ball to it to allow kleptocrats, Christo-fascists, conspiracy-theorists, ideologues and the billionaire class to take it over and destroy everything that you ever knew and have believed in your entire life, then you have only ONE choice: you need to get up out of your chairs and get on the streets and protest!! En masse!

Start organizing in community centers, get on the phones, meet in groups with any and all of your representatives, consider massive civil disobedience measures, actively boycott anything and everything that is MAGA or supports Republican causes, but most importantly start causing a frikin commotion like none other than you’ve ever done in your entire life! None of us have the luxury of time to waste.

Because the reality is if you don’t, you are going to lose everything you ever cherished. In his own famous J6 words: 'If you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore'.

Its battle-stations, battle-stations, all hands on deck time. This isn't a blip that midterms are going to fix.

This is YOUR moment folks. Please, please, please, don’t let it slip away. The window is closing fast. If not, you will forever regret not doing anything.

SILENCE = COMPLICITY

Awesome to hear Anne! What is needed is a TWO million person march on Washington. And an equivalent of the Arab Spring of 2011... an uprising that cannot be ignored or quashed. It will certainly come with risks, but the alternative will be paralyzing.

People who were paying attention—and you were out there saying it every day—knew it was going to be a debacle. I never expected it to be this bad, but I knew he was in trouble mentally and physically.

At least some of this is the failure of the corporate press outlets. I have saved a lot of money on publications in the last year because I stopped subscribing to cowardly temporizing newspapers and national magazines.

I remember reading information in an AARP publication for seniors about the policy positions of the two candidates. It was probably verbatim what each campaign sent them. And if you had just arrived from another planet but could magically read English, you’d have had the impression that there wasn’t much difference between Harris and Trump. I remember throwing the thing down and saying, “Useless! Absolutely useless!” That’s what most of the press coverage was.

Rick in one of your emails that doesn't take comments you said we will get through the next 4 brutal years. There is no chance of that happening. If we don't rise up and kick Trump out of office this country is over in a matter of months not years. Are you out of your mind thinking this will still be a democracy in 4 years. Come on!! This is urgent. I am not a physically well person I know I and many others that rely on Medicaid WILL DIE if he remains!!!

I am pessimistic but you just blew past me like I’m standing still. (Actually at the moment I am)

The peril is real. The danger is right there in front of our faces. I’m very well read on all matters Hitler, 3rd Reich and their ascension in the early 30s and the parallels are also real, to the detail. Eerie

I am taking some heart in what I see at these town halls and other protests. The outrage is building and will inspire more outrage.

Still … nothing is guaranteed. If anyone really believes that there will be any meaningful loss of support among his cult, even from ppl who he’s hurting directly - Farmers, Vets, Muslims, Blacks and Hispanics; all of whom helped elect this fuk - one is kidding themselves

The key is inspiring those in our own party to get off their asses and at a minimum VOTE. In ‘16 & ‘24, 10s of millions didn’t. So WE did this to ourselves

Our messaging is terrible, our leaders are worse. We have challenges, but I’m not ready to fly the white flag yet. Control the things you can control. No one will convert a Trump voter, but FFS we CAN get our own party members to vote.

Do you believe that? With what level of certainty?

After this last election. polls, already of highly questionable value, proved once again to be completely wrong. Iowa was 4 points up? I never believed that. The worst of all were polls that said late deciders were breaking for Kamala. That was so ridiculously lacking in cred, so lacking in logic and proportion (thanks Grace Slick) it made me laugh at anyone here who believed it.

So when I hear 'so and so is turning away from Trump', I simply don't believe it. And I hope someday soon to be proven so wrong that the entire board just kills me over it.

You just said in an earlier post that he's just a figurehead not the main evildoer. But the reason we can't flip Republicans is because of Trump's unique ability to hold them in his spell.

We can't flip "Trump's unique ability to hold them in his spell"?

You just claimed, falsely, all sorts of groups are turning against him

What I meant when I said he's only a figurehead is this: He's a man of no core values (other than money and his own self aggrandizement). He could just as easily be a wildly liberal Democrat today, to the left of Bernie, but there was no play for him there, no group of stooges who could be easily conned and led around on a leash.

So he lined up with the worst among us - Musk, Johnson, McCarthy, all of Fox News, and of course Putin. And he embraced their destructive, soulless ethos and direction, purely for personal gain of course. THEY molded him, not the other way around. And yes, you're right, today he survives based on a dystopian charismatic persona that holds people in his clutches. They hate libs: He echoes that. Putin hates America but holds enough power to get him elected. Trump: "Count me in"

I could go on. HE has become THEM. Not the other way around. Because he's an empty vessel.
