Did the mother not think that someone would investigate her and find out the real history? This reeks to me of vengeance for an innocent 12 year old being the agent of the destruction of her marriage to a child rapist. She loved him more than her daughter. Little wonder the daughter had psychiatric treatment. Obviously her home life was unbearable after she was raped.
The people who created this ad deserve to be run out of town naked on the most splintery rail that can be found, then dumped into the mill pond. Contains Vegas, Henderson and surrounding area. It is by far, the biggest population center in the state. Our Democratic district attorney is running unopposed. Hmmm. We are a purple state, not a sure Democratic stronghold. In August, 2025, there was a cyber convention here. Tom Alexandrovich, Israel's Cyber Directorate under the PM, was arrested on felony child sex predator charges. The next day, he was back in Israel with his passport. No problem said our D.A. He was just following the NV pre-set schedule not seeing a prosecutor or judge. He was indicted of this charge last October and has still not set foot back in the US. Outrage over this, even from nutcake Chattah, the asst. US Attorney here, who was found in August, 2026 to illegally appointed to that office. Even Pam Bondi was outraged. I'm sure US naturalized citizen from Israel, Adelson (donates $100 million to Trump) had no influence on our D.A. I knew then I'd never vote for him again. It gets worse. Our governor is a Republican. Was a cop in Vegas for 30 years and was the Sheriff for several years. In fact, was the Sheriff at the time of the 10/1/2017 mass shooting here, which surprising enough, has never found the motive behind it. Hasn't the motive been determined in almost all of our mass shootings, except this one. So he's our governor now. Our Democratic DA has endorsed him over the Democrat running for office and has also appeared in campaign photos with him. So why would MAGA spend a dime on running a Republican here since they have Benedict Arnold on their side? The whole thing makes me sick. One of the most glaring things about the last few years is how corrupt our government is at all levels and the pay for play.
My wife and I just voted today with absentee ballots. I’ve never handled a document so carefully in my life. Filling in the little ovals with surgical precision, double checking every detail, signing my name on the envelope so carefully, asking the post office if they were positive it would be there on time.
If we’re looking for a silver lining in all this dark and stormy weather we’ve all endured, can it be that we will never take for granted how precious our democracy is? I’m 65, a lifelong Independent, and there was a time that I just looked for the best character in the candidate, from either party. Those days are gone for now, but when we have a president that’s not bent on destroying our country and trying to convince us that we’re so different, I think there could come a day when we can get back to lifting each other up, instead of knocking each other down. For my grandkid’s sake, I sure hope so.

Hoping fervently that it would not be the last freely cast vote in my life. I drove down to the city building, passed the ballot drop off box in city hall and handed it directly to the city clerk. I wanted my vote to be in the can, safe and not mysteriously left to the fates. Buckle up its going to be a rough few months ahead. Hopefully the massive turnout numbers will make the message clear.
