"Pissed-off women are dangerous women"; we're also very determined women who are tired of the constant barrage of anti-women nonsense coming from Republicans. I'd also like to mention MO, since no one ever does (except to laugh at our state Senator running for his life). We spent some time fighting Bailey about the wording of an abortion rights ballot initiative (which we won), but we're out gathering signatures to put it up for a vote in November. MO Republicans tried to change the threshold for ballot initiatives (not just increasing the percentage but adding a requirement about getting a majority of Congressional districts - more power for rural areas) but, since they can't legislate, they couldn't get it passed. Rural Democrats are also working on getting more Democrats to run for office in these areas as Republican candidates often run unopposed.
