Rick! I hope you follow Black Man Spy both on Substack/you tube! He’s the only one I really trust with intelligence info! His info needs to be spread in a thousand different ways!

For decades, stretching back to both dems and GQP administrations, we've been told that the federal gov't should be run "like a business". The implication is that businesses are well-managed caretakers of their operations and financial condition. Well we are seeing that diaper boy (it feels so wonderful calling him that) IS running the federal government like he ran his businesses - into the ground.

The reality is that diaper boy could not find a gallon of milk if he was standing in the dairy aisle of a grocery store. He is a rare combination of ignorant mixed with a strong dose of stupidity - topped off with severe dementia and a gawd-complex. Manipulate his ego and he'll follow one to the gates of hell (of course there are no gates of hell, and no hell either).

Fact of the matter is that this attack was based solely on Net-in-yahoo's incessant "Iran is minutes away from a nuclear attack on the galaxy" statements that he's been making since gee-zus was swaddling. There is more planning, preparation, scenario-analyses and options to deescalate for a 5 year old's birthday party. Who would have thought that Iran would disable the US' ability to re-supply their arsenal? What a fucking concept...

SECDRUNK is too busy invoking the "it's gawd's desire" and "it's the end of days and diaper boy is gawd's chosen one" bullshit. Years of spewing lies on FUCKS "news" is grossly inadequate experience to head the military (or the birthday party previously mentioned".

So here we are folks, facing rising prices at the pump. More destabilization that we've ever seen in our lifetime. China and Russia and North Korea all rattling their sabers. We've drawn down our supplies. Ignored other regions that could explode at any moment. With these clowns mis-managing every aspect of this incursion, Taiwan is exposed (just one example). The US cannot win a global war. We're outnumbered and easily out-maneuvered.

Diaper boy's regime is so incompetent that they could hide their own easter eggs and not find them.

Very scary commentary re the potential dangers to our military personnel in battle - anywhere or anytime. Lack of resources can kill, literally. I am thinking "the Bulge", but in our digital warfare sense.

there are a few columns, and this is one, that should be mandatory for Fox to run unamended. It's an important message that those many many people with Fox-poisoning will never be exposed to otherwise.

While trump brags that he will release a fury that “no one has seen before”. Guess he’s planning on 3 nukes because the 2 dropped on Japan were what wussies do. And 1st idiot son, will build a stockpile in a couple of hours because he was given a defense contract with no bids for a START UP somehow makes him the most qualified for the job, even though he has zero military experience. All to funnel more money into the family while his only experience with gun is killing endangered species at taxpayer expense.

And we saw how well he ran his casinos. God help us all to survive this moron and his minions.

Will this "situation" be trump's political equivalent of:

a) Syracuse for the Athenians during the Peloponnesian War?

b) Vietnam for LBJ?

c) Iraq for GW Bush?

d) A combination of the above?

The "operation" has serious potential to shatter the maga base once and for all. The endless chaos, incompetence, corruption, greed, and above all else, the callousness of the so-call leader of the unfolding tragedy of his own doing should destroy the political foundation of this fool and everyone who supports him.

Goodness, Rick. You’ve taken all of my frantically swirling thoughts and laid them out clearly. I didn’t think it was possible,

Thank you.

The despot has lit up the middle east with his bluster and bullshit. I thinks I heard someone say you have enough munitions for approx. ten days. This Iranian war may help Ukraine as the Iranians will need their drones . He claims to have stock piles of munitions in other countries. If he has any allies , the will be reluctant to assist the despot whose word is worth dirt.

You have to give the t administration credit for one thing. If it can be done incorrectly, that's how they will do it. Did they really think a day or two bombing and they were won and done? And among other screw-ups"when did we abandon our citizens and tell them they are on their own...no help from their own embassies. Welcome to a really big war nobody wanted.

Doc Blase''s avatar

If it weren't so serious and dangerous, it'd be funny.

"Wuh. Them drones the I-rainians been sendin' to Russia to blow up Ukraine are able to fly th' other direction!" Gollll-eee.

When did we abandon citizens? Kabul, August 30, 2021? Saigon April 30, 1975? The temperature in Doha is 115 degrees and rising. And now, here's Bing Crosby; I'm Dreaming of A White Christmas.

We visited the Churchill War Room Museum in London this fall and learned about the very high level of study and work that went into winning WWII. Even in the "old days," in order to win a war, it took a huge amount of knowledge and planning and persistence and, of course, the lives of soldiers and civilians. It was sobering.

Mike's avatar

Precisely

One of the biggest reasons Hitler lost that war is because of logistics. Supply lines

When he invaded Russia, he was told he'd need something like 800 tons of supplies dropped in to his troops every day. Goering said "sure boss; I got it"

He had nothing. Never dropped more than 80 tons daily. They had no fuel, no winter clothing, no nothing.

Battle of the Bulge, same. That operation never had a chance for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was their supplies were depleted, especially petrol.

Thanks Rick, appreciate you injecting some sound facts into the discourse here.

Trump & SECDRUNK want to blast "Freebird" and shoot stuff. Let the nerds have their spreadsheets while the WARFIGHTERS go do awesome shit.

If only George C. Scott were there to tell both Trump and SECDRUNK that they risked getting their hair mussed we would not be in this fix.

It's actually simpler than you state (and how quickly we forget). The explosives plant explosion in Tennessee in October of last year degraded a supply chain that was already running at maximum capacity. With all of the munitions used in the past 4 years (e.g., all of the older munitions sent to Ukraine) it will take years to get back to full readiness, exacerbated by the new activity in the Middle East. Who needs rare earths when you can even produce the explosives themselves. When everyone runs low on standard munitions, all that will be left are the nukes. One could aver that cooler heads will prevail, but what cooler heads would they be? Might as well start sending "hopes and prayers" to the entire human race...

Mike's avatar

Not Rick, but my GOD, if our commanders are drinking that bullshit faux Christian kool aid, we deserve to get slaughtered.

Yeah, well, I'll make sure I take a few of the MAGAtards with me...
