If the thug is wearing a mask, civilian clothes and refuses to be identified, then it is obvious that person is knowingly engaged in behavior that will lead to accountability. If the actions are legitimate and legal, being identified will not be a problem. Engaging in actions that require your anonymity means your actions are unjust and/or illegal. LEOs, federal, state or local, should be prohibited from hiding their identities, agencies or authorities.
We don't know for a concrete fact yet, but every day it's looking more and more apparent that these ICE roundup crews are hastily deputized and barely trained. I'd also conjecture that they're not officially law enforcement and are paid, likely per diem when they get back to the office, according to an arrest quota. I'd doubt they have any medical insurance or worker's comp, no union of course, and are essentially the uneducated white guy equivalent of migrant farmworkers, paid by piecework.
And they're probably making the equivalent of 17 bucks an hour, tax-free, as 1099 independent contractors. Something that no police academy graduate would ever settle with, given the dangers of the job. But these are the only jobs these guys could get. Criminal records? Wouldn't be surprised. Traumatized veterans with mental health issues that prevent them from staying in legit jobs?
I mean, look at them. They're all overweight and undermuscled. They all look like Thanksgiving drunk uncles, not even ex-cops. Their crowd control and de-escalation skills are nil. Could some Proud Boys and/or J6ers be in the mix? Not sure, but again, it wouldn't surprise me at all. These are not ICE border patrol officers, a law enforcement career, who can be in legitimate danger.
This is why they're so freaking paranoid about wearing masks. It's literally the only protection they have. I never advise any kind of physical confrontation, but it's our Job One to photograph their license plates. Someone recently tried that and one of them jumped out of the car and threatened them with a gun. Well, there are ways of photographing license plates discreetly. We need to dox these mofos, not to harass them ourselves, but only to make it known the quality of the people that Kristi Noem is trusting with guns to pull people off the streets. There's a major scandal waiting to be revealed.
And they are too chicken to go on the streets where the gangs are! We pay their salaries , they should realize that. I don't like my tax money going to the agrandizement of Trump and his lame enforcers.
