Hey we finally got those "death committees" that the Republicans said the Dems would be creating! It'll just be called "DOGE Healthcare Cost Reduction Committee"
Here's another couple... that education $$? It funds special education that helps our kids learn skills to be self supporting instead of sitting at home unable to communicate.
And those food stamps that go to "all those black women who sit at home not working just pumping out babies just to get more welfare"? Yah. It cuts yours too. And your young daughter and son in law who both work but still require food help to be able to pay rent? Yah. It takes theirs too. School lunch programs? It hits that too. It LITERALLY keeps farmers in business. It's the WIC program and SNAP programs are Federally funded Department of Agriculture programs designed to keep the FARMERS in business.
Do I need to explain to you what happens when even one farm "fails"? A huge conglomerate comes along and buys it up. Why do you care about that? They are ONLY interested in making more $$. So they add more Monsanto to our food. More toxins and more poisons. The means more cancer and more birth defects.
PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE WORLD WORKS. Not just for your family... for everyone. And why do we care About starving people in Africa? Because starvation breaks down immune systems which cause disease outbreaks. Then someone who doesn't even know they are sick yet, goes on a plane and brings it to YOUR hometown.
We are a connected world. Like it or not. And time to start GETTING IT!
Except we who didn’t vote for Trump are also F’d. i’m a cancer survivor & need my scans, oncologist & ENT for the rest of my life. If I lose my insurance, I won’t be able to afford this. I also live off my social security. What happens if I lose it….. I can’t find cheer in the FO phase because we are all affected
…except the many millions of us who didn’t vote for Chump, and /or who are vehemently opposed to all of the Chump/DOGE/MAGAt shenanigans, are (or are going to be) collateral damage; infuriating.
I want them to feel the pain, but I know that means the rest of us will feel the pain as well. We will have to stay strong, lock our credit reports, protect our investments, and try to save money.
I’m still waiting for the pain to hit them. I live in a red county in a blue state and I’m sick of seeing these MAGA banners hanging from porches. A few have come down but not enough. Because we live in a blue state, I’m worried that this red county is insulated from the chaos. I know a few severely delusional true believers. Not sure anything will enlighten them.
