Would a law enforcement agency, if one will exist, arrest Trump, JD, et al for actions that harm the USA? Would he be impeached when in custody? Assuming there are 67 votes in the Senate? Would the House find cause for impeachment? Hope Hakeem would be Speaker if the happens?
The only thing Drumpf wants to get out of this is the glory of being a great dealmaker, statesman, and world player. (He even dreams of a Nobel Prize.) So he ruins the story of a brave and courageous Ukraine and the heroism of Zelensky. Mr. Bone Spurs would certainly look bad if Zelensky and the people of Ukraine stole the show after a “peace” deal brokered by the US and Russia. He’s pissed off about that, so he starts a fight with Ukraine and Zelensky.

In 1945 my father was fighting on the island of Iwo Jima as a 23-year-old First Lieutenant in the Marines. At the same time my grandfather was fighting in Germany as an Army Colonel. I miss them both but I'm glad they didn't live to see this.
MJXS, my father in law was a 19 year old Marine Pfc on Iwo Jima. The landing on Iwo was exactly 80 years ago this last week, and he would have been 100 years old this summer. Yes, He also would be in shock. God help us. Never again has been completely forgotten. Shame on this country. We have sown the wind, and will reap the whirlwind becuase of our actions and votes and the evil leaders we have elected-- a second time!!!.
My father, uncles, and father in law all fought in Europe during WWII and I so totally agree with your sentiment. I am glad they are not here to witness not only what the demented felon, muskrat and silent republicans are doing but the fact that some of their families actually voted for this.
When my son and I were watching the coverage of the 2016 election and Trump was declared the winner, there was a moment where just a picture of a red MAGA hat was on the screen. My son said "Someday that will be in a museum, described as symbolizing the beginning of the end of the United States of America". Seemed extreme at the time. Not anymore.
Something else is going on. It’s too absurd to keep going this way. We won’t let it — somehow. It’s a like all the evil in the world is being concentrated in this violation of life going on, so we can grapple with it and get beyond it to become a caring species.
Ukraine will not stop fighting. We should begin fighting against trump, vance, musk, hegseth, and Rubio. They must be taken out of office, by whatever means.

Now these abject cowards have abandoned them to a war criminal determined to wipe out every trace of Ukraine. I'm so ashamed of us. I predicted to my Ukrainian friend fighting in the war that 47 would kneecap Zelensky publicly and in the most humiliating way possible. He was sure America would never, ever abandon freedom and we would always defend democracy. I hate, hate that I was right. I listened to it and 100%. I agree with everything you said but I want to bring up one fact that nobody seems to have picked up anywhere from last week. Putin played Trump magnificently last week. Trump asked to have a prisoner returned- in exchange, Putin wanted a high value asset returned to Russia. Trump agreed and once the asset was on his way to Russia, Putin had another American arrested at the Moscow airport. You want to talk about the art of the deal. Putin won that deal hands down.
I’ve never heard or read anything by you so disheartening as your 12 minute and 43 second rant today. What can we do short of a real revolution or a military coup to stop this madman? I worry for my children and grandchildren. Who will or can stop this madman, certainly not the people he’s appointed in his cabinet and beyond. I always thought that once Trump left this world MAGA would fall apart by all the infighting to take over the movement, but not anymore.
The post WWII paradigm is no more. It saddens me when I think of all the WWII vets I knew as a kid. They gave up their youth to destroy fascism and defend liberty Only to have their sacrifices be for naught . Our nation has lost its way.
